Marye Elizabeth Scarbrough, 85, of Maryville Tennessee, passed away April 25, 2019 at UT Medical Center. She was a devoted preacher's wife of Nelson's Chapel Church of Christ where she actively attended for nearly 60 years. Here she had lifelong friends who were more like an extended family than friends. She is preceded in Death by, Parents, Fred and Harriet Elizabeth Shields, and husband Vernon Scarbrough. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend to her sister Charlotte Douglas, Daughters Debbie Boling, Kay Merritt (Gary), Grandchildren Linda M. Simonton (Donny), David McMurray, Brant Hicks, (Sandra), Russell Boling. Great Grandchildren, Donovan Simonton, Sadie and Samuel McMurray, Gavin Hicks, Collen, Chloe, Isaac, Michael and Eli Boling along with brother and sister in laws, many nieces and nephews, and her special dear friend Mr. Bob Tipton.
