In Loving Memory of Brayan Roberto Mendez-Miguel October 9, 2001 - November 23, 2023 Danbury, CT - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brayan Roberto Mendez-Miguel, a beloved son, brother, and friend. Brayan, born on October 9, 2001, in Valhalla, NY, peacefully departed this world on November 23, 2023, in Danbury, CT. He was 22 years old. Brayan was a cherished resident of Danbury, CT, where he worked as a server at Chipotle. His dedication and hard work were soon to be rewarded with a promotion to manager, a testament to his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Known for his playful and joyful spirit, Brayan touched the lives of those around him with his infectious laughter and genuine kindness. He possessed a heart of gold, always ready to lend a helping hand and treat others with respect. Brayan's love for his mother, Berta Calcano, was evident in every aspect of his life, and their bond was unbreakable. Brayan is survived by his stepfather, Milton Perez, and mother Berta Calcano (Wilfredo), and his siblings Carlo, Jessica, Jayden, Macericio and Omar. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be cherished by his family and friends. Brayan is also survived by his grandparents, Cornelius Mendez and Adela Miguel, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family members. Visitation to celebrate Brayan's life will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home, located at 117 South Street, Danbury, CT, on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, service time to be updated. Burial will follow at Wooster Cemetery. Brayan will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in his laughter and love. Brayan, nacido el 9 de octubre de 2001 en Valhalla, NY, partio pacificamente de este mundo el 23 de noviembre de 2023 en Danbury, CT. Tenia 22 anos. Brayan era un residente querido de Danbury, CT, donde trabajaba como mesero en Chipotle. Su dedicacion y arduo trabajo pronto serian recompensados con un ascenso a gerente, un testimonio de su fuerte etica laboral y compromiso con la excelencia. Deja un legado de amor y calidez que siempre sera apreciado por su familia y amigos. A Brayan tambien le sobreviven sus abuelos, Cornelius Mendez y Adela Miguel, asi como numerosas tias, tios y familiares. La visita para celebrar la vida de Brayan se llevara a cabo en la Funeraria Danbury Memorial, ubicada en 117 South Street, Danbury, CT, el lunes 4 de diciembre de 2023, de 5:00 pm a 9:00 pm. Un servicio funerario tendra lugar el martes 5 de diciembre de 2023, seguido de un entierro en el Cementerio Wooster en Danbury. Brayan sera profundamente extranado por todos los que lo conocieron, pero su espiritu perdurara en los recuerdos y corazones de aquellos afortunados que compartieron su risa y amor.
