MaryAnn Henard passed away of natural causes on June 19, 2022. MaryAnn was born April 17, 1938 in San Francisco to the late William Patrick Doherty and Geneva Margaret “Nelly” Weigman Doherty. She attended High School in San Bernadino, California and after graduation took art and business courses at Palomar College in San Diego County. She worked as an executive assistant and court reporter for many years. She married Gary Henard and lived in Loma Linda, California, and eventually moved to Waverly, Tennessee, in 1980, where they raised their 4 children. MaryAnn loved animals and raised Appaloosa horses, rabbits & chickens. Over the years she had many pets. Memorable ones included Sugar-a white poodle she would dye its hair different colors to match her outfits, Carrie a Blue Tick Coon Hound, Mustgo a Great Dane/Lab mix and Oliver a Himalayan cat. She loved Gardening-everything from flowers, vegetables, and fruit trees. She was an accomplished artist that worked with several. . .
