Mary Williford Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Page Williford, 86, of Macclesfield, on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Services to honor Mary's life will be held at Wilbanks Christian Church on Sunday at 2:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. As we gather to celebrate Mary's life, let us remember the joy she brought to all of us and the lasting impact she leaves on our hearts. Mary was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. She was born September 27, 1937, and had a passion for the simple pleasures in life. She had a special fondness for Mexican food and Oreos, but what truly warmed her heart was spending quality time with her family. Mary's love for her family knew no bounds, and she cherished every opportunity to go on vacation and create memories together. Mary was a steadfast pillar of faith, as a longtime member of Wilbanks Christian Church. Mary was preceded in death by the love of her life, Milton (died 2006), with whom she now reunites in eternity. She was also preceded by her mother, Katie Howell Page, father, Wiley Plymouth Page, son, William Thomas Williford (died 1967), brother, Melvin Page (died 2023), and son-in-law, Eddie Jones (died 2021). She is survived by her loving children, Jeff (Tammy) Williford of Macclesfield, Jamie (Christie) Williford, and Michelle Jones of Elm City. Mary's legacy of love extends through her grandchildren, Haley Williford, Thomas (Holly) Williford, Kaitlyn Williford (fiancé Travis Davis), William Williford, Christina (Greg) Bottoms, Mary Kathryn Jones (fiancé Rio Montes), Hannah Jones, and Jacob Jones; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Aubrey Bottoms; and sister, Lucy Jones of Elm City.
