Mary Virginia Walchli, 97, of Valley City, Ohio passed away Monday, June 20, 2022. Mary was born May 6, 1925 in Mountain Park, New Mexico to the late Robert and Mary Virginia (Morrison) Geib. She lived in Cleveland and Parma for many years prior to moving the Valley City in 1983. She spent most of her summers enjoying the Lake Erie beach in Huron. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening and feeding the birds. She will be greatly missed by her children, Bob (Penny) Walchli, Holly (Neal) Harvey and Jim (Sheila) Walchli. Grandchildren, Geoff (Tania) Walchli, Jesse Walchli, Cody (Rosemary) Walchli, Derek (Martine) Fogarty, Justin (Abbie) Fogarty, Neal (Renee) Harvey, Dave (Molly) Harvey, Tara (Ron) Bunner, Meghan, Sarah, & Jessica Walchli and Danielle Mika. Great grandchildren, Logan, Grant, Brynn, Drew, Cade, Luke, Mallory, Bridget, Cole, Bryce and Carter. There are also many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Harry in 2010; twin sisters, Jackie and Gerri of Alamogordo, New Mexico.
