Mary M. Traylor (84) of Falmouth, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at River Valley Nursing Home. She was born in Jackson, KY, on May 21, 1939, daughter of the late Willie and Ninnie Myrtle Chandler Haddix. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Earl Traylor Sr. , son Gerald Traylor, brothers Andrew, George, Paul, Raymond, Arnold, Charlie and Johnny Haddix, sisters Hazel Teegarden, Louis Ann Haddix, Suzy Haddix and Caney Thompson. Mary retired from River Valley Nursing Home as a Dietary Aid. She is survived by her children Bill (Slybina) Traylor, Randy (Kristel) Traylor, Arthur (the late Lillian) Traylor Jr. , Patricia (Roy) Flora, Rebecca Traylor and Edna Gallagher, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

"Larry Coleman, 77, a lifelong resident of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. Born on September 12, 1946, in Covington, KY, he was the oldest son of the late Leslie Martin Coleman and Margarette Fardo Coleman. On August 12, 1978, he married Lita Jo Vogelsong Coleman, and his best friend of 40 years preceded him in death on September 16, 2018. For over 30 years, he drove a truck for A. C. Leasing in Sharonville, OH, after previously driving for Pepsi. At the center of his life were his family and his farms, where he spent countless hours doing the work he loved. Earlier in his life, Larry enjoyed traveling to Amish Country in Ohio. For five years he owned and operated Wildcat Carriages, dressing as Santa and visiting the Dry Ridge Outlet Mall and Meijer in Cold Spring. In retirement, Larry looked forward to visiting Rural King. He had seen every episode of "Gunsmoke" at least three times. He is survived by his two sons: Larry Wayne ( Brenda) Coleman of Butler, KY and Donald James (Melissa) Coleman of Las Vegas, NV ; two step-sons: Randy (Kathy) Elmore of Cincinnati, OH and James "Bo" (Linda) Elmore of Covington, KY; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three sisters: Carolyn Wachtel of Scottsdale, AZ, Debbie Stenger of Burlington, KY, and Regina Guyette of Paradise Valley, AZ; twin brothers: Marc Coleman of Washington, PA and Mike Coleman of Lake Park, GA; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Sorrell on April 8, 2023. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 202 Second Street, Falmouth, KY 41040, with Fr. Britton Hennessey officiating. The visitation will be from 10-11:30 am on Saturday preceding the mass at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Interment will take place in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County. "Show more

David Joseph 'Joe' Brockman, Jr. , passed on from this life on December 4, 2023 in his home in Warren County, Ohio. Joe was born November 3, 1971 at Bethesda North Hospital in Hamilton County, Ohio to Deborah and David Brockman. He proudly served in the Army from 1990-1994 as a Tactical Power Generation Specialist. He was last stationed in the 501st Signal Battalion of the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, where he was honorably discharged. During his service, Joe was decorated with many awards, recognitions and badges. He was the recipient of the Air Assault Badge, the Drivers Badge, the Mechanics badge and recieved the max score of the Hand Grenade Assault Course. Some of Joe's many interests included writing and singing music, art and skiing. But, most importantly, his heart was fulfilled by spending time with his children and grandchildren. Joe always knew how to make someone smile and knew the perfect words to say. When he said he loved you, he really meant it. Joe will be dearly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Deborah Brockman, David (Rhonda) Brockman, children Brittany (Travis) Alsip, Ethan Brockman, Aidan Brockman, siblings Rob (Andrea) Brockman, Amy (Larry) Hoffman, grandchildren Kylie, Sophia, Diesel, Jeremiah and Emma and nieces and nephews Robbie, Katie, Laranda, and Lydia. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 11-1pm at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1pm at the funeral home. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to Peoples Funeral Home to help offset funeral cost.Show more
