WOLCOTTMARY SPINO"Loving mother and grandmother"Mary (Tortorelli) Spino age 96 of Wolcott passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 21, 2023 at her home. She was the beloved widow of Pasquale Spino Sr. Mary was born May 1, 1926 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Peter and Josephine Tortorelli. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and worked for the City of Waterbury in food service for over 25 years. Mary was a woman of faith; a long time communicate of Saint Michael's Church where she was also a member of the Altar Guild and a reader at Mass. She loved trips to the casino with church friends and playing cards. Mary loved cooking for work and her family and was a voracious reader. She will be greatly missed by those blessed to know and love her. She leaves her son Pasquale Spino Jr. of Wolcott, her granddaughter Gianna Marie Perrotti of Waterbury and her son in law Richard Perrotti of Waterbury. She was predeceased by a daughter Joan (Spino) Perrotti and two brothers Phillip and Joseph Tortorelli. Mary's family would like to thank the staff at AccentCare Hospice, especially Cindy and Anda, her caregiver, for the kindness, compassionate care and love extended to Mary and her family. Arrangements: Funeral Tuesday April 25, 2023 at 10 AM from Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway to Saint Michael's Church in Waterbury to celebrate Mass at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 AM at the funeral home.
