Lynn Zeit

Lynn Zeit

Age - N/A

November 28, 2023

Colors faded and the sun's light dimmed as Lynn Zeit, devoted wife, mother, and nana, departed this world the morning of November 24 . She leaves behind a heartbroken family but also a legacy of strength, artistry, and steadfast commitment to creating a world filled with love and hope. Born in the blue-collar Cleveland suburbs in 1952, she graduated Euclid High School (1970) and went on to become a certified X-Ray technician through Saint Luke's Hospital. In addition to working at various Cleveland hospitals and for private doctor practices, she taught and ran the X-Ray training program at Hillcrest Hospital for several years. While she was a medical professional by trade, her passion was art, and she was a talented painter and artist, finding inspiration mainly in nature and the every day. Later in life, her favorite medium transitioned from canvas to blank cards that she would create, sign with love, and send to her children, grandchildren and a vast network of friends. She married the love of her life, Paul Zeit, at his parent's house in 1976. Two became three with the birth of their daughter, Jennifer, in 1981 and then the family rounded out with Brian arriving in 1982. The day after Thanksgiving in 1985 the family moved into Lynn's dream home in Novelty where she lived the rest of her days. She loved the home not only for its quiet country atmosphere but also for the vibrant colors outside her windows that gave inspiration to a lifetime of paintings. She raised her family there, and saw her beloved grandchildren, Alaina, Fiona, and Owen, play in the same woods and sled down the same hill her children did. She showed us all what it meant to be tough by fighting lifelong medical complications with grace and strength. Given the medical hand Lynn was dealt, many would have become bitter and resentful, but she was kind, happy, and had a joy of life only possessed by those few who are born with gratitude in their hearts. She accepted all into her home with open arms and was an example of what it is to be a parent, mentor, and friend. For many years, hers was the house at which people wanted to congregate, and the home away from home for all. She hosted, fed, and laughed with everyone she met, and many local kids came to call her Mom. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Paul, her two children, Jennifer and Brian, their spouses, Craig and Krystina, her grandchildren, Alaina, Fiona, and Owen, her brother Keith and his wife Holly, and her youngest brother Neal. She was preceded in death by her brother Dale, whose wife Pam carries his memory on today. She had a great many life-long friends and relatives who mourn with the family as well. It's said that the streets of heaven are filled with angels and lined with gold. As we say goodbye to Lynn, it's nice to picture her walking those streets with her own Nana, on two strong legs, cool air in her lungs, and telling her how she got to be a Nana herself. Lynn spent her parenting and grandparenting years trying to emulate her Nana, never feeling she quite measured up, but she DID. . . in every way. Flowers are welcome, but please consider donating to the Cleveland Autism Society in her memory instead. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Lynn at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd. ) FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2023, from 3-5 pm and 6-8pm. There will be a prayer service following the visitation service at 5 pm and 8 pm. We are pleased to provide for you this grief video series by Doug Manning titled The Journey of Grief. Anthony Nuccitelli

Anthony Nuccitelli

Age - N/A

November 28, 2023

ANTHONY E. NUCCITELLI, aged 87 years, beloved husband for 66 years to Jeanne (nee Britting), dear father of Richard Anthony (recently passed on Nov. 5, 2023) (Jill) and Renee Trebec (Randy Northrup), loving grandfather of Nichole Lazor (Will) and Jordin Kirk (Jaime), devoted great-grandfather of Keegan John Anthony and Grayson Joseph Lazor, and Landyn James and Westyn Anthony Kirk, cherished brother of Vicki Olarte (Guillermo) and the late Angelo and Lenore, treasured son-in-law to the late Ann and Nicholas Britting, loved brother-in-law to Jo Asadorian (George) fond uncle and great-uncle to many. Anthony (Tony to loved ones) E. Nuccitelli was born in Cleveland, OH. Growing up on Harvard and Broadway he enjoyed athletics, especially baseball. His first job was a caddy at Highland golf course, but you could always find him in the streets playing ball. After high school he married the love of his life Jeanne. Tony dabbled in different careers until joining Glastic Corporation. It is here he spent the majority of his career starting out as a tow motor driver. Heading back to school he took classes at John Carroll University and Ohio State University to further both his education and career. He retired from Glastic as the plant operations manager. He moved quite a few times, but the majority of his adulthood was spent on Balmoral Dr. in Richmond Heights, OH. A love for all things sports and competition, he never let anyone win. He could run backwards faster than most people could run forward. As a young baseball player, he had the opportunity to play in the minor leagues, but unfortunate circumstances made it not possible. That didn't stop Tony from playing and he continued to play fast pitch baseball well into adulthood. An avid golfer he spent more time on the green than anywhere else. He met some of his closest friends when joining Quail Hollow in 1986. This love for golf enabled him to play in many tournaments and earn many awards and trophies. His love for golf is the reason why they packed up their belongings in Richmond Heights and moved to Concord Township only to have the 9th hole of Weiskopf as their backyard during retirement. Tony loved getting together with family and extended family during the holidays and chatting up anyone who wanted to talk about all thing's sports, big band, and Frank Sinatra. He was truly the life of the party wherever he went. He may have never arrived to a party on time because he was either holding a baseball or golf club, he was never the first to leave. Telling jokes (usually at others expenses) you were sure to have a good time hanging out with Tony. If you were lucky enough to be called "buddy" don't worry he knew your face, just forgot your name but it was his signature saying to make sure everyone felt cared for when he was around. He started traveling after marriage and both him and Jeanne made sure to travel with friends and family. From beaches to major cities, across borders, cruises, and even a trip to Japan made for lifelong memories. He loved to read, especially about the Civil War. Tony was a classy, witty, lovable, sarcastic, and competitive individual. His charismatic personality drew people in with warmth and positive energy, always leaving a lasting impression. He was always the best dressed in the room and always right even when he was wrong. He somehow was able to afford double hotels on the boardwalk and as the self-nominated "banker" he never lost a game. Just because he sometimes cheated to win doesn't mean he did love big. Tony was a family man first and foremost and will be deeply missed. Funeral services Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at the funeral home at 1:30 PM. Fr. Dave Woost of Divine Word Catholic Church, officiating. Private interment. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Anthony at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD.
