Mary Margaret Mahfouz Lemaire, 72, of Milan, passed away Wednesday April 19, 2023 at OSF St. Francis, Peoria. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00am Friday May 5, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to OSF St. Francis Family House, 1339 E. Nebraska Avenue, Peoria, IL 61603. Mary was born on January 8, 1951 in Abbeville, Louisiana, the daughter of Tophie and Ester (Menard) Mahfouz. She was a selfless woman and loved spending time with her family, reading, listening to old music (James Brown, Blues & Zydeco) and cooking Cajun food. Survivors include her children, Jamie (Tammy) Lemaire, Christopher (Heather) Lemaire, Mickey (Cathie) Lemaire; grandchildren, PJ Lemaire, Zack Lemaire, Alyssa Eastman, Kelsey Lewis, Christopher Lemaire, Brittanie Lemaire, Lexie Lemaire, Chelsea Salmon, Emily Lemaire, Katlyn Lemaire; great grandchildren, Kobey, Avah, Amiliana, Landon, Gemma, Abel, Tucker, Zoey, Mya, Luke, Amiere , Leo, Ryder, Ariella and one more on the way; brother, Mickey Stoute and sister, Cathy Stoute.
