Mary Frances Lawrence, 87, entered eternal life on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at her home in Bardstown, Kentucky following a short illness. She was born in Taylorsville, Kentucky on the 15th of August, 1936 to the late Eddie and Mary Hillard (Young). Soon after retirement from home health care, Frances realized she could not have idle hands and returned to work as a receptionist for hospice. Her selflessness and giving spirit was evident throughout her career and her life. She enjoyed singing in church with her sister, sitting on her porch and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Frances liked to sew and was quite talented with a crochet hook. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Golden and by her Brother, Eddie Hillard Jr. Survivors include her 4 sons, Rodney Lawrence of Louisville, Kentucky, Ronald Lawrence of Mount Washington, Kentucky, Roger Lawrence of Cox's Creek, Kentucky, Royce Lawrence (Deloris) of Zoneton, Kentucky, her daughter Rosemary Brooks (Greg) of Sellersburg, Indiana. Frances also leaves her 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and her beloved dog Yoda to cherish her memory. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E. John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, Kentucky 40004) with interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 14 from 3:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. and on Friday September 15 from 9:00 A. M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Arrangements were entrusted to Garr Funeral Home of Sellersburg with the assistance of Barlow Funeral Home of Bardstown

Her 75 years among us were a testament to love, fortitude, and boundless compassion. As a guiding light and cherished matriarch, Colette's presence transcended generations. Colette is survived by the love of her life for 54 years Keith, their 3 children; Michelle (Doug), Danielle (Greg), Philippe (Danielle) ,her daughter Michelle Bonner ,her 10 grandchildren, and her 4 great grandchildren, her sisters Lise and Ginette and her brother Jacques and her best friend of 63 years Janice Swarens( Allen). May she rest in eternal peace, her legacy a guiding light for generations to come. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday November 26, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. , of Sellersburg, Indiana died November 14, 2023, aged 79 years old. Dianne was an alumni of Silver Creek High School and of Indiana University, where she earned a BS degree in secondary education and a MS degree in guidance and counseling. She was a retired counselor from Charlestown High School, Charlestown, IN, where she taught English, speech, and journalism before she became a guidance counselor. After retiring, she was for ten years a member of the Board of Directors for the Clark County Youth Shelter, serving as President and in various other offices. Dianne was a member of the Sellersburg United Methodist Church. Preceding Dianne in death were her parents, Claude H, and Annabel Wells LaMaster, her husband of 30 years, Richard S. Merillat, and her brother, Claude H. LaMaster, Jr. She is survived by her nephew Drew H. LaMaster (wife Kristin, daughters Annabelle, Lilliana, and Madelyn), her niece Emily LaMaster McGrath (daughter Grace), her niece Meredith LaMaster, and her sister-in-law Barbara LaMaster. All are residents of Louisville, KY, except Meredith of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Miller (husband Steve) of Sellersburg, IN, her nephew Geoffrey Miller (wife Sara, daughter Isabella) of Boca Raton, FL, her niece Jennifer Tezak (husband Nik, daughter Emilia, son Oskar) of Boulder, CO, and by many cousins, especially Dale McKinley (wife Tammy), Cindy Embry, and Donna Frazier. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P. M. on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 A. M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sellersburg Cemetery, Hospice of Southern Indiana Home Care, or the Clark County Indiana Youth Shelter.Show more
