December 5, 2023

Eduardo Ramos Jr. passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023. There are some people placed on this earth exclusively to provide love and joy. Eduardo Ramos, Jr. , was one of those people. Born in Rapid City, South Dakota on May 20, 1965, he moved to Madison, WI in 1969. His family moved so that he could obtain the education he needed due to his special needs. He moved to St. Coletta of Wisconsin in 1977 and immediately blossomed from the caregivers and teachers known formally as the staff and faculty of St. Coletta, informally as God's followers and angels. Ed loved a simple life, a good cheeseburger, sausage pizza, and an endless supply of Diet Coke. He was good friends with many superheroes: Batman, Spiderman, and the Incredible Hulk. He had a superpower of hiding things that you would never, ever find again. You could easily find Ed carrying his binder that contained photos of his family that he wanted to keep close and carrying them around was vital to him. He loved his friends, his family, and everyone at St. Coletta of Wisconsin where he spent over 45 years. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Toni and Mark Chamberlain, his nephews, Michael Grosse and Patrick (Olivia) Grosse, and his father, Eduardo G. Ramos, Sr. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dee Ramos, and his brother-in-law, David E. Grosse. Not many people experience unconditional love. Ed gave it freely and his family reciprocated. He will be greatly missed. It will be easy to remember him by thinking of his smile. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Chapel of the Little Flower on the Alverno Campus of St. Colletta. Online condolences may be made atShow more
