Mary E. "Babe" (Ramish) LaRosa, 91, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2023 at Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center in Blackwood, NJ. She had been a resident there for 3 1/2 years. Mary also lived in Clayton, Elmer and Vineland. She was a graduated of Vineland High School Class of 1950. She worked at Wawa as a coffee hostess, Serene Custard, PAFA, ARA and at the Ice Cream Palace. Mary enjoyed many hobbies and activities including, bingo, word finds, crossword puzzles, bus trips and vacations to Florida with her predeceased cousin Mary Paul. Mary wanted to enjoy this life and tried to do good and knows God is with her and others that believe in the Holy Word. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Ann & Rudy Rossi; her daughter-in-law, Brenda LaRosa; two grandchildren, Rudy III & Amy Rossi and Kevin & Nikki Rossi; and four great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Rudolph John, Anthony and Everett. She was predeceased by her son, John "Kenny" LaRosa; parents, Fred & Irma Ramish and her brother, Robert Ramish. A funeral home visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 11am to 12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. HATTIE ROZIE STANLEY NORMAN was a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Annie (Amie)Bethea Bellamy Stanley born on October 15, 1939, in Horry County South Carolina. She departed her earthly life on December 1, 2023, at Virtual Willingboro Hospital with her sister by her bedside. Hattie is a 1958 graduate of Chestnut Consolidated High School Little River, South Carolina. At an early age she was converted and joined Popular AME Church, Longs, South Carolina. After graduation she relocated to Trenton, New Jersey, she joined Jerusalem Baptist Church, presently she is a member of Alpha Baptist Church under the leadership Rev. Dr. Danny E. Scotton, she was a member of Willingboro Friendship Guild and Mount Holly Seniors, Hattie worked various Department stores and retired from Dunn Department store. Hattie was a loving, giving, caring, and a traveler. She loved her family very dearly; she helped us whenever needed. The day of her demised she just had returned from a day trip. She already has traveling plans for 2024. Hattie was a God-fearing woman, during COVID on Sunday's she would say I went to my church first then I went to three other churches, North and South Carolina all while she was sitting in her big blue chair. Facebook Live! Hattie married the true love of her life Marshall Norman Jr. for 23 years. She was preceded to the grave by her husband Norman, parents Andrew and Annie, five sisters, Ruth Gainey, Lula Vereen, Lue E Murray, Joan Watkins and Helen Deloris Bellamy. Three brothers Willie Stanley, John Wesley Stanley, Fred D. Stanley and a nephew Henry Delond Stanley reared in the home. Hattie leaves to cherishes her sweet memories to one sister Annie Opal Bellamy, Longs, South Carolina and a nephew Bob Stanley who was reared in the home as a brother. Gerardo Masucci

Gerardo Masucci, 94, passed away peacefully on December 6th at Cooper Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Gerardo was born on May 20th, 1929, in Flumeri, Avellino. He was a master tailor who immigrated from Italy in 1962. He worked as a foreman at several area clothing factories before retiring 32 years ago. His greatest passion was playing his accordion, often entertaining at celebrations such as the Padre Pio Festival. His other passion was going to Atlantic City to engage in his favorite game-table poker. He is survived by his wife, Gilda of 66 years; his daughters, Maria and Nancy and son-in-law, Michael Montalvo, along with his granddaughter, Ashley (Desiere) Doulis and her husband Peter Doulis. He is also survived by his nephew, Vincent Fierro and niece, Antoinette Fierro, along with other extended family here, and in Italy. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 10am to 11:15am, followed by a funeral liturgy at 11:30am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore's Church, 1655 Magnolia Rd. , Vineland. John Cecere, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. John was born in Vineland to the late Carlo and Alice (Keane) Cecere and was a lifelong resident of Vineland. Prior to his retirement, John worked as a self-employed truck driver for 30 years and enjoyed working on cars and trucks. He was predeceased by 3 brothers; Louis, Carlo Jr. and Michael Cecere. John is survived by his 3 children; Deborah Shea (Brenden) of Milford, NH, Charlotte Hannon (Robert) of Egg Harbor Township, NJ and John Cecere of Kentucky. Along with his 3 grandchildren including Juliette and Theodore Shea and by his sister Frances (Cecere) Harris (Henry) of Lakeland, FL and brother Edward Cecere (Marlene) of Lakeland, FL. Don Rinck

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Alan Rinck, 62, of Vineland, NJ. Don passed away with his loving wife in his arms on Sunday Dec. 3, 2023 at 3:05 AM, after a seven-year long and very courageous battle with early onset Alzheimer's. Don was born in Palmyra, NJ to William and Elizabeth (nee Bogan) Rinck. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and served as an acolyte there. He graduated from Cinnaminson High School in 1979. After graduation, when his mother wouldn't let him go to the shore house with his buddies for the summer for fear he'd get in trouble, he decided to go into the US Navy early instead of waiting for fall ("I showed her!" he laughed). There, he excelled. By age 26, he became a chief in the Navy. Just a few short years later, he made senior chief. In 1989, he was awarded the Navy Commendation for his valor in leading his men in dousing a major fire that injured nine sailors aboard the oiler, USS Monongahela. After his twenty-year naval career, Don became a sheriff's officer at the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office in Mays Landing, NJ, where he made many friends and worked for 16. 5 years, until illness forced him to retire. Don was kind, generous, quick to forgive, slow to wrath, very protective of those he loved, tried to see the good in all people, loved animals, and loved to laugh. Predeceased by his parents, and his brother-in-law, Richard "Rickster" Carolli, he is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Angela (nee Carolipio) Rinck; loving stepson, Mahlon L. Barber, Jr. ; cherished grandchildren, K'liedyz, Gavin, Angel, Jacob, and their mother Zoed Perez; his sister, Carol Hayner, and her two sons, Chris and Kevin; his brother, Scott Rinck (Mary), and their children Justin and Marissa; sisters-in-law Linda Secor and Carla Comess (Brad); brother-in-law Alan Secor; and many other family members and friends who adored him. Always one to plan ahead, on Aug. 11, 2007, Don wrote this list of things that were important and memorable to him. He wanted it included in his obituary: "I once stopped traffic for my wife. I have been honored to spend 20 years with the finest person I ever met in 48 years on earth, my wife. I have sailed the oceans from Guam to Amsterdam. I met and shook Carl Brashear's hand. I raised a beautiful son. I tried to be kind and courteous I have no regrets!!!!!!!!!!!!!" One he left out, but was very proud of, was the fact that he never changed a diaper! A military ceremony, hosted by LastSalute. US, will be held in his honor this Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, 10:00 AM, at Galloway Veterans Memorial Park, 636 S. New York Rd. (aka Rt. 9) Galloway, NJ 08205. Estella Lane

Estella Marie Newton Lane, born on July 15, 1927, to the late Eugene and Ida Lee Newton, peacefully embraced her heavenly reward on November 23, 2023. Growing up in a substantial family of fourteen children, Estella cherished her upbringing under her Godly parents, deeply rooted in Christ. Educated in Philadelphia, she graduated from William Penn High School and had a distinguished career, retiring from the Federal Government as a GS 13, and from Strawbridge & Clothier (later Macy's). Having embraced Christ at an early age, Estella was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion FBH Church, contributing significantly to its life. She participated in various capacities, singing with the Celestial Choir, serving as the church musician, treasurer of the Finance Board, church clerk, and as the official MC for her Pastor's services. Renowned for her forthrightness, both in church and life, Estella's detailed, organized leadership extended to her impeccable appearance, always dressed elegantly and fragrant with Estee Lauder perfume. Besides traveling globally with her husband and friends, Estella especially relished attending church conventions with her sisters and Harold. In 1953, she married the late Riley Lane, Jr. , and their union blessed them with one child, Denise Marie. The Lane family relocated to Willingboro in the early 1970s, where Estella resided until her passing. Her loyalty to the Newton family was unwavering, and she played a pivotal role as the family organizer, emphasizing the significance of family bonds. Estella's culinary talents were well-known, and her generosity extended beyond meals to aiding family members in various aspects of life. A vibrant social life saw Estella enjoying time with girlfriends and actively participating in her daughter's organizational events. Summers on Martha's Vineyard were particularly cherished, marked by her class, grace, caring spirit, quick wit, and humor, making her the life of the party. Her grandsons, Andre Jr. and Justin Riley, were her pride and joy. Actively involved in their lives, she chauffeured them to school, brought them to church, and accompanied them to numerous activities. In her final days, Justin took on the role of her principal caretaker. Estella leaves behind her daughter Denise, grandsons Andre Jr. and Justin, great-granddaughters Lundy and Brooklyn, sister Dolores, sister-in-law Sarah, godchildren Adeline (Bethann) Colman, Daryl Alexander, and Morgan Moore, son-in-law Andre Sr. , along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends, all mourning the loss of a remarkable woman. Ellen (Bertonazzi) Olita, 89, of Carney's Point, New Jersey passed away on December 3, 2023 at home. Ellen was born in Vineland and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. She was employed by the City of Vineland and the State of New Jersey. She is survived by her two sons, Fred Olita of Little Egg Harbor and Thomas Olita of Vineland; and daughter, Elaine Olita-DeDomenico of Carney's Point. She was blessed with seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Ellen is also survived by her two sisters, Margaret Mesiano of Vineland and Janice Mielke of Buena Borough. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Olita in 1981. He can be remembered riding his bike for leisure throughout Vineland. Raul enjoyed family gatherings, playing dominos, story-telling, singing and cooking. He was passionate, fierce, a jokester and boasted an infectious laugh. Raul is survived by Sara, his partner of over thirty years. He also leaves behind his children, Raul (Alex), Wanda, Adalberto, and step-children Rosa, Eddie, Beatriz and Sammy; as well as two sisters Milagros and Elsie, and his four brothers in Puerto Rico. It is with great sadness and broken hearts to announce the passing of our father, Carmelo Morales on November 30, 2023 at the age of 79 in Vineland, New Jersey. His ongoing battle with medical issues in the recent years showed his courage and facing life challenges always with smile. Despite the pain, Carmelo came out as a strong individual and carried himself with such kindness and the biggest heart. Carmelo's love for his family and his church was an inspiration that will carry on as part of his legacy. Carmelo enjoyed singing his church songs (coritos) " La Corona De La Vida " with great joy. Let's not forget his love for Popeyes fried chicken and the Phillies! David Arvelo, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2023. David was born on October 13, 1961 in Lares, Puerto Rico and came to live in New Jersey at a young age. David graduated from Vineland High School's Class of 1978. He served in the Army National Guard for 6 years and also worked at Silverton Yacht for many years. David especially loved to go fishing. David is survived by his loving mother, Sofia Rodriguez; his sister, Carmen Esquilin, and his two brother's, Israel Latorre and Osvaldo Arvelo. David is preceded in death by his father, Tomas Arvelo. David Miller

Age - 78

David Albert Miller made his final airworthy destination, soaring amongst the Angels. David died at home under Hospice Care on Tuesday, November 28, due to complications related to Parkinson Disease. David was born to John Miller and Eva Margaret Stone on February 27, 1945, in Hartford, Connecticut. He lived in Connecticut getting his elementary education prior to the family moving to Florida. His love of aviation bloomed as a young teenager working at Lantana Airport in Palm Beach County, Florida where he earned his private pilot license while attending Palm Beach Jr. College to achieve his A. A. He later continued his education at Thomas Edison State College where he earned his B. S. degree in Aviation Science. During his aviation career he received aviation ratings in Airline Transport Pilot, Commercial Privileges, Sea Glider, CFI Airplane Single/Multi engine and Instrument, Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic, with Inspection Authorization as Chief pilot, and Captain totaling over 15,000 flying hours. David served as Airport Liaison Representative, and Basic Accident Investigation for ALPA National and was a certified instructor for the University of North Dakota, in Grand Forks, ND, teaching Advanced Accident Investigation classes, and later an instructor at Flight Safety International where he taught Westwind ground school and Simulator FAA check rides. He was the President of Aviation Support Services, Inc. located in Millville and Downstown, N. J. where he was restoring a 1942 Waco airplane. In April 2021, he was awarded the prestigious awards from "The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award" and "The Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award" presented to him by the Federal Aviation Administration for fifty years of exemplary aviation flight experience, distinguished professionalism, and steadfast commitment to aviation safety. David is survived by three sons, Jonn Miller, Seth Miller, (Silvia), Christopher Miller, and three grandchildren, Samantha Miller, Eve Miller, Joseph Miller, sister: Mary Taylor, (Michael), brother: Peter Miller, (Karen), and the love of his life Nancy Carpenter.
