Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church of Taymouth. Pastor Scott Kroener officiating. Burial in Cook Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian church of Taymouth.Patricia was born June 7, 1926 in Durand, Michigan to the late Harry and Mildred (Baker) Tinkham. She grew up in Burt, Michigan and graduated from Montrose High School with the class of 1945. She married Daniel Periard on January 25, 1947 in Flint, Michigan. Patricia enjoyed baking bread, canning, and gardening. However, her greatest joy in life was her family, especially all her grandchildren.Surviving are: Husband of 77 years, Daniel Periard; Daughters, Connie (Gary) Putnam, Michele (Dick) Woodward, Robin Pabis, Dana Hunter; 18 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; 9 Great-Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Arlene M. Loomis, age 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Vassar Comfort Care.Arlene was born in Hale, Michigan, on June 7, 1940, to parents Lafayette & Lucy (Turland) Short. On June 6, 1959, Arlene married the love of her life, Robert Loomis Sr. Together they shared countless memories, raised their three children, and celebrated 44 years of marriage before his passing in 2003. Before retirement, Arlene held several positions such as: a nurse’s aide, production at United Plastics, and drove school bus for Millington schools. Arlene was blessed with a green thumb and was an avid gardener and was always ready to run to a good rummage sale. In the winter months you would find her making afghan’s for the grandkids. Above all, Arlene’s pride & joy was her family and the time she spent with them.Arlene is survived by her children: Robert (Colleen) Loomis II, Rodney (Valora) Loomis, and Tammy Richard; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray (Phyllis) Short, and George Short; sisters, Lucille Stephen, and Linda (Ron) Allen; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Loomis Sr; son-in-law, Robert Richard; granddaughter, April Birman; several siblings; and her parents.Funeral services for Arlene will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Hanlin Funeral Home – Millington; visitation begins at 11 a.m. and lasts until the time of service. Afterwards, Arlene will be laid to rest in Millington Twp. Mr. Donald "Donny" Lee Reil, age 61, a longtime resident of Vassar, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Donny was born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania on November 24, 1962, to Danny & Marcia (Cravener) Reil. In his working years, Donny was a welder with Loudon Steel in Millington. Donny was a natural outdoorsman and enjoyed time spent hunting and fishing. Further, he loved animals. Above all, Donny liked time spent with family and friends. He is survived by his father, Danny Reil; brothers: Randy, Brian, and Richard; sisters, Lisa and Cristine; close friends, Ed & Lorri Carlisle; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Ashleigh Elizabeth Jacot, a resident of Vassar MI, passed away December 28th, 2023 at the age of 35. She was born August 24th, 1988 at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, MI to Glenda Jacot and Ronald Waterman Jr.. Ashleigh was a 2008 graduate of Vassar High School and attended Hope Community Church of Frankenmuth. She loved taking care of the family pets, especially her dog Bella. Ashleigh was a collector of dolls and dollhouses. Her greatest accomplishment was overcoming a congenital heart defect that claims the lives of most children in less than 24 hours of birth. She lived 35 years longer than her doctors expected. She was truly a miracle. Ashleigh was preceded in death by her older brother Ronald "Ronnie" Waterman III and her grandfathers Donald Jacot and Ronald Waterman Sr. She is survived by her siblings Bethanie (Andre) Rodriguez , Elishia (Sam) Licavoli, Wade (Amanda) Waterman, Bryan (Cassandra) Waterman, Sarah (Michael) O’Brien, her parents Glenda Jacot and Ronald Waterman, and her grandparents Carol Jacot, Diane Jacot, and Judy Waterman. The family will be receiving visitors Thursday, January 4th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Friday, January 5th from 10 AM until 11 AM at Hanlin Funeral Home in Vassar, MI. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am January 5th at Hanlin Funeral Home in Vassar, MI with an interment service following at Millington Cemetery in Millington MI. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at St. John Catholic Church in Davison. Fr. Rev. Andrew Czajkowski to officiate. Bernadine's family will be present to receive friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. On Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm, family, friends, and parish will gather to pray the Rosary. On Wednesday morning, Bernadine will be taken to church to lie in state from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be considered to St. John Catholic Church. Bernadine "Dena" was born in Flint, on August 21, 1951, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene and Maxine (Pashby) Belanger. Educated locally, she attended St. Mary High School in Mt. Morris and graduated with the Class of 1969. While in high school, Dena would meet a young man, Burton Robere. The two dated fell in love and were united in marriage on October 7, 1972. Dena pursued a career in the banking industry, working in financial securities and as a mortgage processor for over 20 years. An active member of St. John Catholic Church, Dena was a member for over 20 years, volunteering in many capacities. Dena loved to spend time with her family. She often hosted her entire family for gatherings and holidays. Known for being a fantastic hostess, she loved to bake, especially peanut butter fudge. It was a family favorite! Christmas was Dena's favorite holiday and with that, she kept her tree up all year round. She would theme her tree to the upcoming holiday, many of the decorations were handmade by Dena. She also enjoyed online shopping and getting all dressed up for a dinner out with her husband, Burt, always making sure to leave room for dessert! A dedicated U of M fan, Dena was a season ticket holder dating back to the 80s! Go Blue! She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be dearly missed. Left to cherish Dena's memory are her beloved husband of 51 years, Burt Robere; children: Lynn Hiltz and Alisa Robere; grandchildren: Caitlin Hiltz, Taylor Hiltz, Gabriella Llanos; great-granddaughter, Melanni; siblings: Richard and wife, Cindy Belanger, Edward and wife, Brooke Belanger, Cathy Sheppard, Joseph and wife, Jennifer Belanger; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Dena was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike Belanger.

Kingston was born into the arms of Jesus on November 29, 2023. He was born to his loving parents Kimberly Perryman and Marlenn Ford. We wish we could see you and hold you. It was hard to say goodbye when didn't even get to say hello. You were so loved before you were even born. You're wings were ready but our hearts were not. You will be loved and remembered forever. Dallas "Dutch" was born in Flint on October 21, 1933, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton and Blanche (Hays) Konoski. Educated locally, Dutch graduated from Flint Northern High School with the Class of 1951. Dutch proudly United States Army, serving as a Specialist 3 Class Technician from April 5, 1956, until his honorable discharge on March 8, 1958. Dutch met and married the love of his life, Mary Isaac, in November 1955. Together they shared 61 wonderful years. Sadly, she preceded him in death on December 2, 2016. Dutch worked for Michigan Bell Telephone Company as a cable splicer supervisor until his retirement in the late 1990s, together with his wife, Mary, they also owned and operated D&M Ceramics in Mt. Morris until 1984. Community involvement was important to Dutch . He was an active member of many organizations such as the Moose Lodge #1437 in Flushing, Auto City Eagles, Polish Legion of American Veterans, and VFW Post #8326. Dutch enjoyed staying busy . After he got home from his day job, he would spend most of his time working out in his garage, fixing lawnmowers for the neighbors, or tinkering on a project. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything. He was known for always having a tool in his hands. In his free time, Dutch enjoyed hunting with his brother in Chesaning, going for rides, watching U of M football, police dramas, and parking lot wars. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Besides her husband and parents, Mary Jane was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth John (Johny) Kennard. Friends may call at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Vassar, MI (1148 W. Saginaw Rd) on Wednesday (Nov. 29, 2023) where the family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until services begin. Funeral services for Mary Jane will be held also on Wednesday (Nov-29-2023) beginning at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Following services cremation will take place with private urn burial later.
