Mary Hart Johnson, age 62 of Lansing passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at her home. Mrs. Johnson was born August 11, 1959 in West Chester, PA to the late Earnest and Bobbie Wylene Blevins Hart. Mary was a member of Mt. Pleasant Chapel. She enjoyed traveling to the beach, going to church, shopping and working in her flowers. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, June 24, 2022 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tommy Dollar. Burial will follow in the Brooks-Johnson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 12:00 noon prior to the service. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Billy Johnson, son, Adam Johnson of Creston, sisters, Deborah Cox of Crumpler and Janet Elliott of Lansing, grandchildren, Jasmine Johnson, Hallie Miller and Luke Miller. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Chapel, c/o Mava Hodgson, 3421 NC Hwy. 16, Crumpler, NC 28617.
