Mary Hill was born on May 18, 1948 to Amos Lamkin and Leatrice Hogan. She was the 2 child born of ten kids. She was a member at Shiloh Missionary Baptist church in Rosenberg, Texas. She then moved to Kendleton, Texas where she married Mac Arthur Hill. She had two sons; Anthony Lamkin and Mac Arthur Jr. . Eventually they divorced and she moved to San Antonio, Texas. She then conceived a daughter; Beatrice Hill. Mary attended A. W. Jackson High School and graduated in 1966. She had received many awards and trophies for her cooking and serving skills. She was a devoted church member at East End Church of God in San Antonio, Texas. She enjoyed cooking, going to garage sales and collecting antiques items and enjoyed the sound of the slot machine. Mary was called to the eternal rest on June 11, 2022 and will be missed by all who loved and knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert Lamkin; nephews, Kevin Perry, Terrence Davison, and Sherman McClain. Mary leaves to cherish her memory, sons; Anthony Lamkin, MacAuthor Hill and daughter, Leatrice Hill; grandchildren, Zeniyah Hill, James Harris Jr. and Joy Harris, sisters; Mildred Dixson, Stella Cobbin, Prince Jackson, Peggie Perry, Sharon Lamkin and Gloria Lamkin Jones; brothers, John Lamkin and Raymond Lamkins; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Sister words to sisters, I was very sadden to hear of your passing, but at the same time happy to know that God has his trueful angel back in his armor. There is no better place to be but there, to whom always take good care of you. No more suffering or pain. Thank you, Lord, for sharing her with us and for the time we had together.
