Heffron, Mary Louise (Crowley) 3/14/1929 Mary made her way peacefully home to eternity with her Lord on October 3, 2023, at the age of 94 years while residing at Maple Ridge Manor in Lowell, Michigan Mary was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 14, 1929, daughter of Eugene and Louise (Gillies) Crowley She graduated from Caledonia High School and pursued a career as a Navy Wave; however, her poor vision kept her from continuing In life, Mary was a devoted wife and mother She loved to travel and party with her husband Clayton, going all over the world Mary loved her family deeply and stayed home full-time to care for them Every night, promptly at 6 pm without fail, Mary had a nutritious meal on the table She also enjoyed helping out the farm by selling peaches from the house One of her best traits was her ability to laugh at herself She would say something, and everyone would laugh, and she'd say "what"? She never knew how funny she was She was a beautiful seamstress and made many clothes for her daughters and granddaughters One of her favorite things in her life was dancing She could really "cut a rug " She always said had she not been a homemaker she would have been a dancer She volunteered her time teaching middle school students to dance for their gym class at St Patrick school in Parnell She danced in the annual St Patrick variety show, choreographing the routines She continued to dance through jazzercise well into her 80s She also had a love for music and once, when asked her favorite quote, she said, "Life without music has no meaning " She was a talented painter She was very devoted to her Catholic faith and loved the family church at St Patrick Parish, often devoting her time in volunteer projects Shy and quiet, many were not aware of the many talents she possessed We will miss her more than words can say Mary is survived by her children; Sheila (George) Wright, Janice (Brad) Sykes, Timothy (Janet) Heffron, and her very special daughter, Christina Heffron, as well as her grandchildren: Shannon (Pat) Biergans, Sherry (Dave) Sbraccia, Jessica Wright, James (Jassica) Heffron, Brendan Heffron, Ashley (Joel) Doezma, Maura (Kenny) Schwallier, Johanna, Maria (fiance Collin), and Kierian Heffron and 14- great grandchildren Mary also has a surviving brother, Bob (Barb) Crowley, Sisters-in-law Mary Lou and Mary Ellen Heffron, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins Mary is predeceased by her parents and her loving husband of 53 years, Clayton, her sister Joan, brothers-in-law Ed Milanowski, Phillip Heffron, and Edward Heffron, sister-in-law Kathleen Wild and Rita Alberta Heffron, and nephews Victor Milanowski and Joseph Heffron Visitation will take place Tuesday, October 10 from 5-7 PM, with Rosary at 7 PM, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Belding, and also one hour before Mass on Wednesday at the church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 11 AM at St Patrick Catholic Church in Parnell, with Father Tom Cavera officiating Committal prayers will follow in St Patrick Cemetery Memorials may be given to the St Patrick School Education Fund, or to St Patrick Church for a mass Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church To to the family or in memory of Mary Louise Heffron, please

Joseph C. Maharry Jr. 78 of Greenville joined the love of his life and beloved wife of 41 years, Constance D. Maharry, in heaven on Saturday November 18, 2023, surrounded by his loving family and Corewell Health Hospice. Joe was born on August 17, 1945, in Peoria, IL, the son of Joseph C. and Helen M. (Muthers) Maharry Sr. He graduated in 1963 from Richwoods Community High School in Peoria Heights, IL. Following graduation Joe proudly served in the United States Navy for six years. He retired from a long career in the fiberglass industry in 2011. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, bird watching, bicycling, and walking. Joes was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was a man of great character and strong faith. One of his many joys was attending and serving in church at the Belding Assembly of God in Belding. Joe is loved and survived by his children, Mary Maharry, Athena Maharry, Naomi Maharry, Joe-Seth Maharry, Monte( Trisia) Newland, Michael (Nicole) Case, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and siblings, Larry Maharry, Eugene Maharry and Harold (Rhonda) Maharry. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Constance D. Maharry, sisters, Mary Francess Boggs, Elaine Maharry, Jo-Anne Mennel and a daughter in law, Sally May (Davis) Case. A time to celebrate his life will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 24, 2023, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Adolph Flores officiating. Sue Badder, age 77, died Thursday evening, October 19, 2023 at her son's home in Belding, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 4, 1945 in Whitley City, Kentucky, the daughter of Curtis and Elizabeth (Taylor) King. Sue retired from Federal Mogul after 29 1/2 years of employment. She loved yard sales and loved to she would "shop till ya drop". She enjoyed trips to the "casina" and loved her sweets. She was a very giving person, and especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Badder; son-in-law, Raymond Johnson; and 14 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Kirby Johnson of Sheridan, Gary (Ronda) Stewart of Belding, and Terra (Zach) Powers of Belding; grandchildren, Erik (Khrystyna Miller) Sturm, Valerie (Bruce) Marsh, LaNessa (Dusty) Williams, Amber Nyson, Ashley Stewart, Tyler Petrekovich, Danielle (Riley) Reynard, Zachariah Powers, Jr. , and Logan Powers; and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, October 23, 2023 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Belding, with visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to the service. Mary Louise DeBoer, a revered trendsetter in the real estate industry and a beloved family figure, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2023, in Belding, Michigan. Born on August 18, 1931, in Garden City, Detroit, Mary's life was marked by a passionate pursuit of her interests, a courageous spirit, and thoughtful kindness that touched all who knew her. Mary was a proud graduate of Mackenzie High School in 1948. Her professional journey began with a two-year service in the United States Navy. Mary then embarked on an impressive 40-year career as a Broker in real estate at Westdale. She was a revolutionary trendsetter for women in the business industry, demonstrating initiative, and an unwavering go-getter spirit. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mary's interests painted a vibrant picture of her personality. She was a regular at Anne's Body Shop, where she enjoyed aerobics. Her love for the beach was only surpassed by the love she had for her family, which was the highlight and joy of her life. Her joyful expression, uninhibited nature, and generous heart made her a beacon of comfort and pride for her loved ones. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Harold C. DeBoer, her son, Keith R. Horvath, and her brother, Ralph C. McManus. She is survived by her children, Kathleen (James) White, Richard Horvath, Diane (Fred) DeBoer-Bunn. Her legacy also lives on through her daughter-in-law, Cindy Horvath-Bower, and her grandchildren, Jason (Lianne) White, Kyle White, Richard C. (Laura) White, Austin Horvath, Lindsay (Tony) Kimbrough, Carly (Danny) Mumaw, Katie Smith, and Chelsea (John) Tagget. Mary was also a proud great-grandmother to Kaleigh, Josh, Abigail, Emily, Landon, Addison, Logan, Owen, Noah, Victor, Evelyn, Caroline, Savannah, and Pierson. Her cousin, Russel Mitchell, also survives her. Mary Louise DeBoer was a woman of exceptional character. Her passionate, courageous, and thoughtful nature made her a cherished figure in her family, her professional circles, and her community. Her legacy is one of resilience, love, and an enduring spirit that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to have known her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 2-4 p. m. and 6-8 p. m. at Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St SE Grand Rapids. A memorial service will take place the following day, Monday, October 16, 2023, at 11:00 a. m. with a one-hour visitation prior at Mayflower Congregational Church, 2345 Robinson Rd. SE, Grand Rapids.
