Mary Helen Lopez Gonzalez, age 74, of Memphis, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 01, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Suberto and Elijia Lopez; and her brother, Jose Lopez, Jr. Mary is survived by her soul mate and husband, of 58 beautiful years, Roberto Gonzalez Sr. , of Memphis Texas; daughters, Mary Lou Moreno Garza (Rolando) of Chicago, Ill. , Norma Jeffers (Don) of Corpus Christi, Texas. , Yolanda Gonzalez (Cotton) of Memphis, Texas. , Donna Gonzalez of Midland, Texas, and Desi Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, Texas; and her two favorite sons, Roberto Gonzalez, Jr. (Tammy) of Kyle, Texas and Rene Gonzalez of Kyle, Texas; her sister, Olga Garcia (Frank) of Memphis, Texas. , and Gloria Lopez of Fresno, California; 15 adoring grandchildren and 12 loving great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her honor at 10:00 am on October 21, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 213 North 3rd Street, Memphis, Texas 79245.

"Dennis F. King, 86, of Memphis, Texas died Saturday, September 2, 2023 in Memphis, Texas. Services will be at 10:00am on Monday, September 4, 2023 at the Memphis Church of Christ, with Jim Dixon and Tom Anderson, officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis. Dennis was born July 19, 1937 in Vinson, Oklahoma to Floyd Lecoy and Ollie Esther Cheatwood King. He had been a resident of Memphis since 1951. Dennis was a US Army veteran. He married Vada Corene Williams on June 7, 2006 in Memphis. Dennis had been a truck driver most of his life and was very involved in the Memphis community. He had been the Vice Commander of Post 125 of the American Legion, and was President of the Fairview Cemetery Association. Dennis enjoyed trap shooting, loved hunting and fishing, and enjoyed planning his family reunions. Dennis was a member of the Memphis Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Esther King; 3 brothers, Delmar, Emmitt, and Alfred Lee King; 2 sisters, Patsy King and Desi Fronterhouse. Survivors include his wife, Vada King; a son Dennis Floyd King Jr and wife Dianne; 4 daughters, Kathryn King Robinson and husband Billy, Amanda King Hardesty and husband Roy Daniel, Tina Maxwell and husband Richard, Amanda Green and husband Ken; a sister, Jocie Hunter, 12 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. "Esther Mae Cofer, 96, of Memphis, TX, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 in Memphis. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, September 7, 2023 in Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, TX, with Jamie Cofer officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors in Clarendon. Esther was born on October 4, 1926, in Graford, TX, to Mark Buchanan and Flinnie Bell (Stephen) Slay. She was the youngest of ten children. Esther was a Hall County resident for most of her life and grew up in Lakeview. She married Mack Cofer on October 31, 1942, at the age of sixteen. They had four children together. Esther enjoyed taking care of her family and home as a homemaker. Esther enjoyed being outside, tending to her garden and flowers. She also loved cooking, drinking coffee, and collecting shoes. She was always a well dressed and put together woman. Esther was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star as well as the First Baptist Church in Memphis. She is preceded in death by her parents Mark and Flinnie Slay; husband, Mack Cofer; infant son, Leslie Ralph Cofer; five brothers; four sisters; and one great-great grandchild. Esther is survived by her son, Johnny Mack Cofer (Joyce) of Jacksonville, FL; 2 daughters, Trudy Mae Harris of Howardwick and Cynthia Mullin of Tell; 6 grandchildren, Johnny Mack Cofer, Jr. (Melissa) of Cash, OK, Jamie Cofer (Denise) of Lubbock, Beth Dooley (Marshall) of Sunray, Ronny Skinner (Deborah) of Dumas, Jake Moore (Lynn) of College Station, and Amber Garrison (Shawn) of Tell; 13 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. Maria was born on April 11, 1961 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, to Joe and Lidia (Villa) Rodreguez. She married David Zavala Adame and had five children. She later moved to El Paso, TX, where she lived most of her life. She moved to Memphis, TX, in 2012. Maria was a homemaker and loved to care for her family. She cherished every moment she had with her children and grandchildren. Maria also enjoyed sewing. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis. Maria was preceded in death by her parents.
