The Clergy will be Chaplain Mark McMullin. Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, MOIn lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to family use to be used towards Ovarian Cancer Awareness. Mary was a loving person inside and out. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and never met a stranger. Gerald "Jerry" Gene Jelinek Jr. , son of the late Gerald "Jerry" Jelinek Sr. and Jacqueline "Jackie" S. (Sadler) Jelinek, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 25, 1961. He departed this life at his residence in Bloomsdale, Missouri, on June 19, 2023, at the age of 61. On September 14, 1985, in Centerville, Missouri, Jerry was united in marriage to Delores "DeeDee" Nivens. Jerry was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 3. Jerry enjoyed going on cruises and spending time with his granddaughters. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jeffery Jelinek, two brothers, Michael and John Jelinek, and one sister, Mary Jelinek. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, DeeDee Jelinek of Bloomsdale, Missouri, one son, Matt Fox and wife Marla of Tampa, Florida, one brother, Curtis Jelinek and wife Angie of St. Genevieve, Missouri, one sister, Amy Rayfield and husband Scott of Bloomsdale, Missouri, and three granddaughters, Adriana, Olivia and Chloe. Jerry will be deeply missed by his family and friends who will mourn his passing. She was a favorite resident of Parkwood, The Arbors, and later at the Care Center, with her sweet smile, singing, and appreciative demeanor. Anna Marie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, dancing, playing cards, and Bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking trips to Lake of the Ozarks, game nights, and attending all of her children and grandchildren's school and sporting events. She spent endless hours pouring into her family and community. She had a giving heart and was always quick to help others in need. She dedicated most of her life to her true passion, loving and caring for children. Miss Barbie, as all the kids called her, owned and operated an in home daycare and then began the pre-kindergarten program at St. Agnes school. Her deep love for children and others shined through in all she said and did. She was always a bright light to all that were around her. Barbie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church where she served as a Parish Council Member and PTO President of St. Agnes School.
