Mary Sue Curtis, age 73, passed peacefully on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 at her home in Culpeper, VA. She was born on August 6th, 1945 in Wytheville, VA. She is survived by her husband of 15 outstanding months, Lester Curtis, Jr.; two sons, Kendall Heddings of St. Petersburg, FL and Alan Heddings & his wife, Heidi Sitton of Monroe, WA; three siblings, Nancy Smith & her husband, Bill of Catlett, VA, Joan Wiley of Gurnee, IL & Stephen Blair of St. Petersburg, FL; and grandson, Trenton Heddings of Denver, CO. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Chris & Edna Nolan; brother, Jimmy Blair; brother-in-law, Bob Wiley; and her first husband of 50 years, Jerry Heddings. The family will receive visitors at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 12714 Elk Run Rd., Midland, VA 22728 on Friday, April 26th, 2019 from 11:30 until the service begins at 12 noon. A reception in the church fellowship hall will follow the service. Interment private.
