"Mary Martha Costa, 76, of Huntington, WV, passed away peacefully Friday, September 15, 2023, at The Village at Riverview, Barboursville, WV. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Chapman\u0027s Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Brent Beckett officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Mary was born May 31, 1947 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Keith and Sauline McGinnis Gallaher. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church . In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a dear and special friend, Richard Jeffries. Survivors include: her daughter, Selena Johe (Jim), brothers, Jeffrey Allen (Linda) Gallaher and Keith Edward Gallaher; nephews, Keith Allen (Sarah) Gallaher II and Michael Thomas Gallaher; and a great-nephew, Keith Allen Gallaher III, all of Huntington. Selena and Jim would like to thank management and the entire staff at The Village at Riverview for their care and love shown to Mary, especially Angie, who formed a special bond with her. Mary was loved by all that knew her and will be sorely missed by those that she leaves behind, but every time a cardinal is seen, they\u0027ll know that she\u0027s watching over them. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 7:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington by Pastor Roger Mooney. He was born on June 12, 1951 in Huntington, WV the son of the late O. B. and Jeanette Midkiff Evans. Rickey enjoyed watching all the Marshall University sports teams. He was an avid beach goer especially for family vacations. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He retired from FedEx with over 30 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Lee Evans; and a brother-in-law, Richard L. Midkiff. He is survived by his son, Matthew Evans; grandchildren, Hannah and Robbie Evans; sister, Judy Midkiff; niece, Amy Hobbs; and three special friends, Charlie and Debbie Davis, Kevin and Silkie Adkins, and Tim and Elizabeth Murphy. Vivian V. Hall, 92, passed away on November 25, 2023, at Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born on November 9, 1931, to the late Virgil Keefer and Lucy (Williams) Hook in Huntington, West Virginia. She married John "Bill" Hall and shared 54 years of marriage, eight children, and numerous grandchildren. Her husband John "Billy" Hall passed on April 10, 2023. He was born July 9, 1937, in Tioga, West Virginia to the late Earl and Mabel (Gregory) Butcher. Vivian retired from MFG after 30 years of service to the company. Bill worked as a truck driver for numerous companies throughout his career. Vivian was a wonderful woman and was very environmentally conscious, she enjoyed her daily walks, and didn't leave the house without her bag to collect the litter she found along the way. She loved animals and fed the neighborhood cats and worked with the city to get them fixed. She and Bill enjoyed traveling. They spent the last 26 years in Florida, she recently moved back after Bill's passing in April. They are survived by children, Mitzi (Cliff) Housel, Donna (Randy) Noce, Gina (Tony) Gagliardi, Patty (Vic) Headly, Judy Thomas, David Greogory, Cheryl (Tom) Hanna; Bill's siblings, Delores Horvath, Terry (Sherri) Butcher, Rosetta McKinley; andnumerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. They were preceded in death by their daughter, Krystal Sundstrom; Vivan's sisters, Evelyn Adkins and Ann King; Bill's siblings, Betty Butcher, Barbara Johnston, Carl Hall, Gary Butcher, and Delmas Butcher; and their parents. A celebration of their life will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 12NOON at Greenlawn Memory Gardens 3140 E. Center St. , North Kingsville, with Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiating. She was born in Ashland, KY to the late Frank William and Betty Jane (Davis) Gwinn. Cecilia, affectionately known as "Bugsy" to her family and friends was a graduate of Paul Blazer High School, formerly Ashland High School, class of 1970. She then went on to become a graduate of Bellarmine University where she obtained her bachelor's degree. In pursuit of higher education, she then enrolled in St. Mary's School of Nursing, where she graduated in 1982. "Bugsy" was a worldly traveler, avid equestrian \u0026amp; animal advocate. She cherished her family and was a loving spouse, mother \u0026amp; friend. Those left to cherish her memories include her loving husband of over 53 years, Jim Kelley, two children, Ashley Kelley (Chris Cook) and Reid (Kristie) Kelley, both of Versailles, KY; one brother, Bill Gwinn and three grandchildren, Alex Cook, Grayson Kelley \u0026amp; Sullivan Kelley. "Elias Demitri Fitzpatrick Transitioned to his heavenly reward on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Elias was born October 21, 1988, to Ernest Fitzpatrick Jr. and Regina Fitzpatrick in Huntington, WV. He was born the second oldest of four children, first of his twin sister. Elias graduated from Huntington High School in 2007. It was during middle school that Elias found his passion for playing the drums in the church where his grandmother was Pastor - Pastor Martha Johnson. It was this passion for playing the drums in church that fueled his passion for playing the drum for the Huntington High School Marching Band. Elias could be found with the drum line, playing the "quints", a five-drum musical instrument, at football games, basketball games, and band competitions. In addition to playing the drums during high school, Elias became passionate about videography, and he began filming the HHS Highlanders historic championship team during the OJ Mayo era of basketball. Elias traveled with the team, filmed the games, and edited the footage to be reviewed by the team. Anyone encountering Elias could describe him as a joyful, comedic individual passionate about life and the lives of others. Of these passions, his greatest passion was family and friends. Most important to Elias was the love he had for his children, Haiden and Emeri. He was a proud girl dad known to bombard you with stories, photos, and videos of him and his girls. \u0026nbsp; Elias could be seen at any and all family events no matter the circumstance. Elias would even find a way to come see you while he was working. Elias was a cherished Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, and friend. He is survived by his Father, Ernest Fitzpatrick, His twin sister, Elisabeth, brothers Sheldon and Ian (Trey), his two daughters, Haiden and Emeri, and his devoted life partner, Meagan.
