PEMBROKE- Mrs. Anita M. (Brasley) Rainville, 91, of Pembroke, passed away suddenly at home on February 7, 2024. Born in Pembroke, Anita was the daughter of the late Arthur and Annette (Boisvert) Brasley. She would remain in Pembroke for her entire life. In early years, Anita was employed at BB Shoes and the local mills for a time. She later worked for Chemfab for over 25 years before retiring. Anita was a faithful communicant of St. John the Baptist Parish and always ended her day by praying the Rosary. She kept active with her daily walks around her neighborhood and shopping excursions. She enjoyed puzzles, her toy poodles and was a devoted viewer of General Hospital for 40 years. Above all else, she enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She possessed a quiet demeanor and enjoyed the simple pleasures life offered her. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest “Joe” Rainville; her stepson, Raymond Rainville as well as her siblings: Lorraine Cotting and Robert, Armand and Raymond Brasley. Anita is survived by her son: Robert Rainville and his wife Robin of Pembroke; her sister, Claire Brasley of Pembroke; her two grandchildren, Kendra Thibeault and her husband Aaron and Kyle Rainville and his wife Jean; her great granddaughter, Addison Mae Rainville; and her stepsons, Eugene Rainville of NC and Richard Rainville of FL. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12th from 9 to 10:30 A.M. in The Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Pembroke – Craig M. Erickson, 80, of Pembroke, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, January, 28, 2024 with his wife by his side. He was born on May 24, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN, son of the late Clarence and Olive (Hallston) Erickson. Craig was educated in the local schools and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy and later with the Army National Guard. He worked for many years as a forklift operator with Purity Warehouse until his retirement. Craig enjoyed taking drives with his wife, visiting different breakfast places around the state, his favorites being the Bacon Barn in Londonderry, Allenstown Country Diner and The Circle Restaurant in Epsom, they all knew him by name. He liked to take walks around Memorial Field and Bear Brook in his younger days as well as riding his bicycle. Football always kept his attention, and his wife knew just where to find him on Sundays. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Jason Erickson, a grandson, Justin Erickson and his five brothers, Ronald, Frederic, Dennis, Darrell and Rollie Erickson. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, A. Marsha (Sapienza) Erickson of Pembroke, children, Justin Erickson and his wife Jackie of Revere, Jamie DeMambro of Andover, MA, Chris Sapienza and his wife Liliana of Tampa, FL and Lisa Veilleux and her husband Scott of Windham, grandchildren, Jessalyn, Ryan, Zander, Jeremy, Faith, Morgan, Nicole, Kayla as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. At his request there are no calling hours. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at a later date in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen. Carol Ann Rogers, age 72, of Pembroke, NH, passed away on December 11, 2023, leaving behind a world that just got a little less colorful. Born on April 11, 1951, in Concord, NH, Carol was a true crochet connoisseur and the reigning Queen of yarn. With a personality as vibrant as her crochet creations, Carol was a beautiful, loving, and sassy spitfire. She knew how to thread joy into every stitch. When she wasn't busy hooking up masterpieces, Carol could be found on her "walkabouts" in the yard, soaking up the beauty of nature like no other. She had an unbeatable bond with her children and grandchildren, and she even had a mischievous game of "flipping the bird" with her son-in-law Joshua. Carol's playful spirit and infectious laughter will be sorely missed. Carol's family was her greatest masterpiece. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anita (Berard) Merchant and Amos "Smokey" Merchant, as well as her husband, John Rogers Jr, and her infant son, Alan Rogers. Survived by her daughters, Lynn Miller (husband Bruce) and Carrie Tetro (husband Joshua), and her grandchildren, Ron Shuman, Eric Miller, Bethany Miller, Moriah Spalding, Cassandra Medeiros, John Gold Jr, Kanye Nance, Damien Tetro and Seth Tetro In her professional journey, Carol worked her magic as a Machine Operator at Rumford Press and later as a Mail Clerk for the State of New Hampshire. After years of hard work, she decided to unravel her career and embrace a well-deserved retirement. PEMBROKE - Michael T. Wilkinson, 47, of Pembroke, NH passed away at home on Friday, August 11, 2023. Born in Manchester, NH on August 8, 1976, the son of William and Merrylee (Ainslie) Wilkinson. Growing up, Michael loved working on cars with his father. Most notably from these projects was a 1958 Mercury known as "The Gray Ghost. " Michael went on to make a career installing garage doors. He was extremely work driven, and particularly liked doing the biggest projects he could. He had a passion for Halloween and Christmas, decorating the house inside and out. He loved setting up full displays in his yard for everyone to see. He also loved eagles which was a common theme through his home and life. Michael was devoted to his family, including his "fur babies". He was a proud pet parent to his cats and dog. Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by his sister Penny Hallinan of Florida. Michael is survived by his significant other, Cherilyn McKenney of Pembroke; daughter, Alexsus Wilkinson; sisters, Brenda Studley of Florida; Kaitlyn Wilkinson of Greenwich, NY; Shirley Melvoen of Florida; and Jennifer Melvoen of California. PEMBROKE- Marilyn Elizabeth Watson, 71, of Pembroke, NH, was struck by a vehicle and died on May 16, 2023. Marilyn was born on October 24, 1951, in Pottsville, PA, to James Hunter Watson and Maecille Phyllis Watson. She was their fourth child. Marilyn earned her Associate degree in Nursing from Northeastern University, Cum Laude. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Paralegal Certificate, Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Public Health-Ecology, and Master of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude. She dedicated her life to healthcare and retired from Anthem as a Clinical Research Manager. Marilyn served on the Pembroke School Board, the AARP leadership team, and was a docent at the Currier Museum of Art. She was an active congregant and participant in St. Paul's Episcopal Church activities (Vestry, Ministry of Presence, and Hospitality). She was also an Audubon Society member and volunteer. Marilyn was fascinated by birds of prey and enjoyed camping and hiking. She was an avid bargain hunter who never met a sale she didn't like. Marilyn relished gambling and was a formidable Gin-Rummy and Monopoly player. She was a big action movie fan who fancied James Bond. Her loud laugh sang anytime Eddie Murphy and Gilda Radner performed. She rocked out to Deep Purple, Rush and, despite the protests by her children--who were once held captive in an '88 Chevy Suburban on a 2600-mile cross-country road trip to the Grand Canyon--she LOVED Yes' Big Generator, an album she listened to over and over and over. . . both ways. Marilyn is preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Watson, and survived by her siblings, Dr. James Watson, Aurora Dellolio, Vincent Watson, Joseph Watson, Joan Flaherty, and her children, Bethany W. Gates, Ian Duffy, and Anevay Duffy. A Celebration of Marilyn's life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 2-4PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke, NH 03275. Donald Ray Watkins, 61, of Pembroke, NH, passed away at Tufts Medical Center in Boston on November 16, 2022. He was born in Gastonia, NC on July 30, 1961 and was raised by his parents, Allen and Jean (Rhom) Starrett. He shared 37 years of marriage with his wife, Donna (Villiard) Watkins. Donald was raised in Lowell, NC. He was a graduate of Ashbrook High School where he was on the football and wrestling teams. Upon graduation, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 7 years, stationed in Kaneohe Bay, HI and Quantico, VA. Upon return to civilian life he worked at various jobs in local towns, and was a volunteer at the Manchester VA Medical Center. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans, the VFW, and American Legion. Donald found great comfort in his faith. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and friends and cherished camping trips and enjoying life with his loved ones. Donald is survived by his wife, Donna Watkins; his son, Tyler Watkins and his wife Brandi; his daughter, Jessica Hellen and her fiance Chris Lovell; his mother, Jean Starrett; his siblings, Vicki Jenkins, Beverley Gilbert, and Ron Watkins and his wife Kathy; his brother-in-law, Roger Villiard and his wife Rochelle; his sister-in-law, Joanne Alarie and her husband Thomas; his grandchildren, Hunter, Kodee, Carter, Madelyn, and Brooke-Lynn; as well as many extended family members and friends. Donald was predeceased by his father, Allen Starrett; his brother, David Watkins; and his brother-in-laws, Ritchie Jenkins, Luther Gilbert, and Gary Campbell. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 22 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH with visitation from 10AM-12PM and a funeral service at 12PM. PEMBROKE- Terry George Theberge, age 72, of Pembroke, NH, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. "Tee" enjoyed watching sports, reading newspapers, listening to music, golfing and spending time with his family. Terry was born on April 15, 1950 in Berlin, NH to Elmer Theberge and Mary Migetz Theberge. Growing up in the Elm Street area of Berlin, Terry enjoyed playing sports with his friends and could often be found at the Community Center. Tee worked at a number of places in Berlin, NH including Converse, as a salesman for Silver Brothers and later worked for the Railroad. He also served as a basketball, soccer, and softball coach for the Berlin School District, ranging from elementary ages up to high school varsity. He is survived by his daughter, Leigh Bickerstaff and grandson Nicholas of Bedford NH, son Kevin Theberge, daughter in-law Angela and grandson Theodore of Pembroke NH, and son Matthew Theberge of Berlin NH. He was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Mary Theberge, his children's Mother, Paulette Theberge as well as his sisters, Bonnie York, Wendy Haskell, and Penny Morel. PEMBROKE - Bruce Irvin Lawler of Pembroke, NH passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He was born in Nashua, NH on June 17, 1955 to the late Flora and Irvin Lawler. He grew up in Concord, NH and graduated from Concord High School. He is survived by his wife Bonita Lawler and his children Eric Strazze (Tiffany) who was his best friend, his son Bruce Lawler and daughters Duska and Ryann and daughter-in-law- Tracey Lawler, his sister Robin (Stephen) Gaige, Lori (Dale) Warner, and Victoria Lawler, along with his 5 grandchildren, nieces and nephews, family from Connecticut who loved him so, and his brothers-in-law Leonard Fournier and Ben Strazze (Gene). Elisha Dupuis who was like a daughter. Thank you Kimberly O'Brien for all your love. He was a dedicated police officer and retired from the Pembroke P. D. As an officer, he was a certified accident investigator and he received an accommodation for saving a MA state trooper's life. His greatest love was his family. He was a talented drummer, dive master, and boating enthusiast. He lived life to the fullest. We are celebrating Bruce's life at Grace Capital Church on Saturday March 19, 2022 from 11am-12pm.
