It is with much sadness that on June 21, 2022, at the age of 78, Mary Elizabeth Chapman (Bristol, Virginia) passed away and is now peacefully at rest in God’s loving arms. She was predeceased by: Her husband, Clyde A. Chapman, her parents, Dena Holt Brooks and Dewey Calvin Brooks, and her brother, William Donald “Don” Brooks. She is survived by: her children, Ray Chapman (Cherie) of Abingdon, VA, Rhonda Slagle (Tony) of Bristol, VA; granddaughter, Sarah Hutchinson (Blaine), their children Kathryn, Jonathan and Jentrie, granddaughter, Heather Smith (Austin), their daughter, Locklyn, grandson, Ben Slagle (Samantha), their children, Maysun and Calloway, granddaughter, Christy McGriff (Jim), their children, Cheyenne, Laine, Ashlen, their grandson, Caden, granddaughter, Courtney Slagle, her children, Austin, Turner, Tay, granddaughter Corrie Slagle, her daughter Tylee, granddaughter, Casey Sheffield (Mason), their son, Beckett, grandson TJ Slagle (Valerie), their children, Jordan, Olivia. . . .
