Martha Detweiler Obituary

Martha S. (nee: Gingerich) Detweiler, age 63, of Middlefield passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on May 6, 2023, surrounded by family at her home. Born January 28, 1960, in Madison to Simon W. and Clara M. (nee: Miller) Gingerich, she had been a longtime area resident. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Survivors include her children MirMiriaBen) Detweiler, Robert (Betty Anne) Detweiler, Cristine (Albert Ray) Miller, Laura (Paul Allen) Miller and Clara Mae (Adam) Miller; 17 grandchildren and mother Clara (nee: Miller) Gingerich. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Detweiler; siblings Ruth Ann Detweiler and Marcia Detweiler; grandson Robbie Detweiler Jr; father Simon W. Gingerich and in-laws Jacob W. and Sara (nee: Gingerich) Detweiler. She was laid to rest at Yoder Cemetery in Parkman Twp. on May 8, 2023. To to the family or in memory of Martha S.
