ViewingSaturday 12/09/2023 12:00pm to 2:00pmCedar Grove Baptist Church15 Mercer StreetNewark, NJ Antoine Jerome Lambert (Tony) was born on February 8, 1970 to Geraldine Hawkins and Jerome(Sonny) Lambert. He was the youngest of 3 children. Tony attended Elizabeth High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He graduated from Pasadena City College where he earned his Associate Degree in the Arts. He also obtained his BBA Business Administration and Management Degree in 2013. Tony has co-owned and worked in his family business, Lambert Cleaning and Janitorial Services. Tony was smart and very educated. Most people had no idea of his diverse background. He loved everyone, no matter what ethnicity and he never had anything negative to say about anyone. His smile lit up the room and shined like the brightest light and it made you smile with him. He absolutely loved all 11 of his grandchildren. Tony was the kindest person that you ever wanted to meet. He understood a lot when it came to people. His award-winning smile is all that it took to hook you into loving him, even from a distance. His heart was so big, and his love was so strong that you could feel him even when he wasn't around. Yes, he had many friends and they ALL loved him. You could talk to him about anything, and he would know how to keep and maintain that conversation and focus on any subject. He took on so much in his life, because of his big heart. I know that he will be missed by each and every one of you reading this, and I am grateful that we all had the opportunity to love him, adore him and make him happy. If you have never met Tony, then you have missed out in life because he was a GOD send from the Heavens. He joined the US Navy and around about the year '96 the Military sent him to Japan. He did not like that very much, but believe it or not, he did not understand the language, but he still left with new friends. His Church home was Valencia Christian Center (VCC), Pastor Swanzi Saunders, where he was loved and adored and worshipped, even if it was on-line. He was definitively Saved, and he showed it everywhere he went. It's hard to forget Tony in any capacity. His last employer was KINDEVA where he was well loved and supported by his peers, and he really enjoyed the work. Show more
