Marjorie Signor Obituary

Marjorie Ida Signor, 86 of Pittsfield, passed away April 20, 2023 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pittsfield, MA on December 24, 1937, she was the daughter of William and Marjorie Peaslee Ellsworth. She was educated in Pittsfield schools. She was married to Michael J. Signor, who predeceased her in 2014. Mrs. Signor was a private duty caregiver for Ed Mastrovino. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and volunteering at the food banks. She is survived by her sons, Robert K. Signor and longtime partner Denise Canfield, Keith W. Signor, Timothy A. Signor, and Steven S. Signor all of Pittsfield. Three sisters, Marion Barnes, Beatrice Wendell and Lillian Frederick all of Pittsfield. Brother, Frank Barnes of Dalton. Five grandchildren, Steven Signor Jr, Brian Signor, Cheyenne Signor, Shane Signor and Jaime Vieira. As well as eight great-grandchildren Lillyanna, Kaydem, Cole, Isabella, Aiden, Iyanna, Elaina and Ava. She was predeceased by her son, Michael J. Signor and brother George Barnes. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral home services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11 a. m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held, Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 4 to 7 p. m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and mailed to the funeral home.
