Marilyn Robson Obituary

Marilyn Elizabeth Robson, daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Robson, passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2023 in Tualatin, OR. Marilyn had a successful 45 year career in General Merchandise at Fred Meyer, where her talents for presentation, organization, and execution made her an asset to the many teams she supported. She held positions in Apparel Management, Product Supervisor for the Southern District and concluded her impressive career on the Portland main campus as a Merchandise Specialist. Marilyn mentored many co-workers who went on to be recognized and promoted and who became long-time friends even after she retired from the company. Her legacy of professionalism, knowledge and guidance will be remembered for many years to come. Marilyn adopted and cared for many rescue cats over the years. Peek-a-Boo and Gertie being the last ones. She is survived by her children Marianne (Steve) Groom, John (Anne) Passarge, David Passarge and Michael Passarge; as well has her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marilyn's kindness, generosity and humor will be greatly missed by everyone she touched. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to CAT (Cat Adoption Team) in Sherwood, Oregon.
