Marilyn Mcleod Obituary

Marilyn McLeod (Nelson), aged 84, passed away on April 20, 2023. Marilyn was born in Boston, and she was raised and educated in Weymouth, graduating from Weymouth High School in 1956. After high school, Marilyn attended Children's College of Nursing. Marilyn married her high school sweetheart and beloved husband Don in 1961, and the two settled in Weymouth where they raised their loving family. Marilyn adored her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed spending time with them in Bass River at the Denskraphog. Marilyn is predeceased by her loving husband Donald McLeod Sr. She is survived by her children, Donald McLeod Jr and his wife Sue of Villa Hills, Kentucky, Timothy McLeod and his wife Kelly of Pembroke, and Christopher McLeod and his wife Chrissy of Weymouth. Marilyn was also loved by her grandchildren (Kaitlin, Maggie, Matt, Sean, Colin, Meghan, and Quinn), neices/nephews and many friends and neighbors. A visitation for Marilyn will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 4-6pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 134 Pleasant St. ( Columbian Sq. ) South Weymouth, Ma. A burial service will be private at a later date.
