Jeffrey Clark Lamb

location-icon

Kissimmee, FL

"Jeffrey Clark Lamb Jeffrey Lamb, 82, of Kissimmee, Florida, formerly of Groveland, Massachusetts, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, after a fierce battle with cancer. He was born in Medford, Massachusetts, June 6, 1942, the son of the late Donald Armstrong Lamb and the late Jean Chalmers (Lamb) Lord. Jeff is survived by his wife, Frances Hogan Lamb, a son, Donald Henry Lamb, and his wife, Geetha, and his daughters, Laura Jean (Lamb) Campbell and her husband, Michael, and Jill (Hockmuth) Bacheller. His extended family includes a brother, Jonathan Lord and his wife, Estelle Halchak, and sisters, Jennifer Lord Kiarsis, and her husband, Steven Kiarsis, and Teresa (Lamb) Stamile. He had many nephews and nieces. Jeff was a Great, Great Grandfather of one; Great Grandfather to four, and wonderful Grandfather to six. He was a member of the last class in Groveland that attended Haverhill High School prior to the construction of Pentucket Regional High School. After high school, he joined the Air Force where he served from December 1961 to November 1965. His duty stations included overseas in Turkey, and was then stationed at Ellsworth Airforce Base in South Dakota, where he received his plumbing training. He was honorably discharged from the military as an E3 Airman Second Class and returned to Massachusetts to start a family. He began his plumbing career at Stark \u0026amp; Cronk, Groveland, and then had his own oil burner business in Haverhill for several years. He finished his working career at General Electric in the Maintenance Department and retired in 2002 as a second shift maintenance supervisor. An avid golfer for decades, he had various memberships in local clubs, and played golf anywhere and every chance he could! He loved to travel with is golf buddies to play courses around the country. Anybody who had ever played golf with him most likely at least once became the of victim of the “Jeff Stink Eye”!! He earned the nickname “The Peacock” because that man could sure strut on the course. He also enjoyed woodworking and tinkering in his garage, one of his many happy places. Working outdoors in his yard doing landscaping and gardening was also a favorite past time. He even built a coy pond in his backyard in Groveland. When Jeff wasn’t golfing, you could find him peddling his kayak around fishing at Thomas Pond. Dancing was also one of his favorite things. He taught many of his family and friends how to do the Jitterbug. Watching Jeff dance brought smiles because you could tell how much he enjoyed it. A “December Romance”, Jeff and his wife, Fran, were married in September 2023, in Danvers, Massachusetts. Their short years together were filled with fun, dancing, laughter and love. Jeff was an upbeat person, whose favorite parting saying was “Keep Smilin’”, and he always did. Per Jeff’s request, there will be no calling hours. He always wanted a big party when the day came so to honor his wishes, we are going to celebrate his life with golf and good times at Bradford Country Club on April 19th. Please visit https://www.osceolamemgds.com/obituaries/Jeffrey-Lamb-3/#!/TributeWall for more information. Keep Smilin’"
