Obituary of Marian Premo Marian Jones Premo, 83, of Ava, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Grand in Rome. Born in West Leyden on December 7, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Jesse (Miner) Jones. She was a graduate of West Leyden High School. She was married to Francis J. Premo for 32 years. He passed away on August 20, 1998. Marian loved the outdoors, gardening, raising animals and her dog Collie. Marian is survived by three children, Lori Broderick (fiance Mike de Jong) of Penfield, Mark (Nancy) Premo of Liverpool and Michael (Faith) Premo of Carson City, NV; sisters Adeline Jones Bishopp, Gladys Jones Smith and Neda Jones Bauer; brothers Warren Jones, Douglas Jones and Emery Jones; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers/sisters Edith Jones, Millicent Jones, Robert Jones, Frances Jones, Catherine Jones O'Neil and Alice Jones Henley and a grandson, Mark Palumbo. A traditional Latin Catholic funeral service will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Interment will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7:00 p.m. followed by the prayer of the Rosary. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marian's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
