KELLER - Maria Guel Zamora was called to her heavenly home by her loving Jesus Christ on April 19, 2023. She was born on November 11, 1933, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Evangelina Reyna and Ladislado Guel Mancillas. Celebration of Life: 2:30 p. m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Reception: Live Oak Room 4 to 6 p. m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Greenwood. Visitation: 1:30 p. m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in Greenwood Chapel. Maria was the oldest of ten children, six brothers and three sisters. She was a woman of great faith, grace, courage, and a determination that showed up when she set her mind to something, like obtaining a bachelor's degree from seminary school at the age of 54, writing more than twenty-five books, and traveling around the world to evangelize and donate her books to public libraries. Her goal was to spread God's word and help others fulfill God's plan for their lives. Evangelism was her passion and the beat of her heart. Maria always said that her greatest accomplishment was working for the "best boss in the world", Jesus Christ. Shortly after marriage, she, along with her loving husband, Abel Zamora Velazquez, devoted their lives working to expand the Kingdom of God. Maria was a teacher at the Apostolic Bible College in Tepic, Nayarit. She held many leadership roles within the Apostolic Church and frequently traveled to teach on different topics in many churches around the world. She was an amazing teacher and speaker who captivated God's people with practical and anointed teachings. Maria leaves a lasting legacy in the lives of many and is now rejoicing with Jesus. She is survived by her son Abel Zamora Guel and wife, Gloria Duenas de Zamora and her daughter, Anna De Leon and husband, Javier De Leon; grandchildren, Joshua De Leon, Perla Zamora Duenas, Abel Zamora Duenas, Alexis Zamora Duenas and Emanuel Zamora Duenas; sisters, Ester Guel de Villegas, Raquel Guel, Sara Guel de Candanosa; brothers, Isabel (Chabelo) Guel Reyna and Samuel Guel Reyna.
