Maria Stonecalf Obituary

Maria " Marty" Stonecalf Voros passed from this life on April 19, 2023 in Binger, Oklahoma. Maria was born to Geneva Stonecalf and Gino Voros on February 23,1963 in Manhattan, New York. She was raised by her grandmother, Gertrude Lefthand after her mother passed away. Maria was a fun loving and enjoyable woman to be around. She enjoyed attending church at Grace Baptist in Anadarko, Ok, cooking and playing bingo. She also loved cats. Maria was a member of the Cheyenne & Arapaho tribe. She enjoyed going to powwows and bead working. Maria was a homemaker and attended school in Anadarko and Mesa, Az. Maria is survived by her two daughters " Tweety Bird" Tosha Taneal Voros of Anadarko, Ok and " Sugar Baby" Elonka Rae Voros of Edmond, Ok. Grandchildren Jacob & Isaiah Hall, Alexi McCullar, Lily, Gabriel & Rhett Foster. Her brother Contastino Stonecalf and wife, Gaynell; her aunts: Wanda Stonecalf Morgan and family, Janice, Cheryl and Raynell Stonecalf, and uncle Kent Stonecalf and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gertrude Lefthand, and mother Geneva Stonecalf. Viewing will be Tuesday and Wednesday 9-8 pm at Smith Funeral home. Funeral service Thursday April 27,2023 at 11 am at JJ Methvin United Methodist Church in Anadarko with graveside services at 1 pm at Memory Lane Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Espinoza, Anthony Stonecalf, Montana Stonecalf, Jason Cramer Jr. , Chris Foster, Jordan Contreras. She will surely be missed by friends and family, may she rest in peace with God. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma.
