Margaret Hall Smith, 91, of Gilbert, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, January 28, at Charity Community Church with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Paul Widener officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 4:00 P.M. Monday before the service at the church. Active pallbearers will be Don Johnson, Mike Johnson, Hunter Johnson, D.J. Johnson, Brad Johnson, Paul Sharpe and Stacy "Rock" Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Hall, Kendal Clamp, Melvin Hartley, Ray Smith and Harold Miller. Mrs. Smith was born in Leesville, SC daughter of the late Holley and Sedel Oswald Hall. She was married to the late Jobe Smith Jr. She was a textile worker, seamstress, and a farmer. Mrs. Smith was a Sunday School Teacher at Pond Branch United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Linda (Melton) Gunter; grandchildren, Joey (Alivia) Gunter; Amanda (Kevin) Barefoot; great grandchildren, Katelyn Barefoot; Joseph and Daniel Gunter; and a sister, Cloe (Cleveland) Taylor of Gilbert.
