"Margaret Cecilia Michaud Reiger went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 22, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Eugene C. (Cap) Reiger. She is survived by her daughters Angela M. Marks (Tom) and Martha A. O\u0027Boyle (James) Grandchildren Adrienne D. Martin, Scott B. O\u0027Boyle (Hilary), Andrew G. (Beth) and Travis E. Hagen. Three Great grandchildren, Benton and Elizabeth Martin and Jaxson O\u0027Boyle. Siblings, Alice Pomfret and Irene Wambaugh. Margaret was a military wife and always active in Gene's military and postal service career. She always devotedly served her Catholic church family in the various places she lived. Margaret was involved with the Ladies Guild at Holy Faith Catholic Church, Gainesville, Fl for over 40 yrs and served a term as President and other capacities. Her Catholic faith and love of Christ Jesus was the center of her life. Margaret was an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family and neighbors. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help. She regularly volunteered at the schools of her children and grandchildren. She was a Girl Scout leader. A tribal member of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians. She was proud of her Native American heritage. Born in Presque Isle, Maine. Her dream was to get married and have children. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her husband and children. Anyone who knew her, knew how devoted she was to her family and serving the Lord. Burial will be in the Northern Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Caribou, ME on June 9, 2023.
