Margaret Lorenz Obituary

Margaret A. Lorenz (nee Henderson) of Naperville, IL, affectionately known as "Dood," died peacefully on April 19, 2023 at the age of 93. She was born and raised in Joliet, IL. where she met and married her beloved husband of 40 years, George, who proceeded her in death. Marge is survived by her three loving children, Mary Ann (Terry) McCully, Tom (Kristin) Lorenz, and Katie Lorenz. She was the proud grandmother of Michael, Colleen, Tyler, Meghan, Tanner, Kellyann, Danny, Patty and Mardi and great-grandmother of Logan; fond sister in-law of Nancy Kelley, Kenneth "Buzz" Wood and Harry (Pam) Lorenz; fond aunt and dear cousin to many. Marge was also preceded in death by her loving parents Margaret and Martin Henderson; and her cherished siblings, Martin Henderson, Jr. , Mary Lou (Joe) Dwyer and Carol Wood. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, IL. from 8:30am until time of prayers at 9:45am. Mass 11:30am at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus Church located at 604 N. Raynor Street, Joliet, IL. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL.
