Margaret "Peggy" Imogene Robinson Knight May 9, 1928 - September 15, 2023 Margaret Imogene Knight, affectionately called Peggy, a cherished pillar of her community, passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 95 Born and raised in Levy County, Florida, to proud parents Mary Luvenia Manning and Cass Elliot Robinson, Margaret was a shining gem in their lives and in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her Margaret's legacy lives on through her loving children, Shannon (Michael) Roth and Susan Knight, her cherished grandchildren, Cass (Peter) Retz, Tate (Anna) Roth, Todd (Dana) Barrett, and Molly Ohlinger, and her adored great-grandchildren, Olivia Retz, Riggs Retz, Adeline Roth, Wade Roth, Spencer Barrett, Caroline Barrett, Carter Barrett, Margaret Barrett, Falon Elliot, Joshua Goodman, Aidan Ohlinger, Colby Workman, and Franklin Eldon Peggy's life was a testament to the enduring values of her family's cattle-raising heritage She carried with her the lessons of hard work, dedication, and a profound connection to the land Her journey led her to the halls of Florida Southern College, where she nurtured her thirst for knowledge, embodying the spirit of lifelong learning As a devoted homemaker, Peggy created a haven of love and warmth for her family Her nurturing embrace, delicious home-cooked meals, and boundless affection were the cornerstones of her loving home Beyond her role as a homemaker, Peggy served as a dedicated school teacher, shaping young minds with her wisdom, compassion, and unwavering belief in the potential of her students Peggy's heart was forever entwined with the beauty of the land, the wonders of nature, and the vibrant hues of flowers She found solace in the simple joys of life's wonders and shared her appreciation with all who knew her Her love for music and her dear husband, Lonnie Eugene Knight, led them to create the Withlacoochee Bluegrass Festival, a treasured event that united their community in celebration of music, friendship, and shared passion Lonnie's passing in 2007 left a void that Peggy bravely filled, carrying their legacy forward Margaret "Peggy" Imogene Robinson Knight was a beacon of love, kindness, and grace Her memory will forever shine brightly in the hearts of all who were touched by her presence Peggy's life was a testament to the boundless impact one person can have on the world, and she will be deeply missed In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund (www curealz org) in her honor We gather to celebrate Peggy's life on October 13th, 2023 at 2pm at: Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon 19939 E Pennsylvania Avenue Dunnellon, FL 34432 We warmly welcome friends and family to come together in remembrance and gratitude for the light she brought into our lives Rather than donning somber shades, we kindly encourage you to embrace the radiant and cheerful colors that our dear Nanny, held close to her heart To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Margaret Imogene (Robinson) Knight, please visit our

Alfred Gordon Wilson, born February 14, 1950, in Lakeview, Michigan passed away on November 12th, 2023 at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. His loving wife Lynn, was at his side. Al earned his Bachelors degree from Michigan State University and a Masters degree from Vanderbilt University. Before eventually retiring to Florida, he lived in the Middle Tennessee area where he enjoyed a successful career working as a mechanical engineer in the custom metal fabrication industry. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn (Richards) Wilson, step-sons Jason (Amanda) LaForte of Nashville, TN, John (Julie) LaForte of Santa Rosa, FL and Jim (Dawn) LaForte of Murfreesboro, TN, step-grandchildren Taylor, Halle, Joanna, Maggie, and Max. He is also survived by sisters Ruth (Harry) King of Mason, MI and Eloise Buzbee of Brooksville, FL, along with several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Alfred Gordon and Helen (May) Wilson. Al served in the National Guard and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a chocolate and wine connoisseur who enjoyed cheering on his Spartans, restoring and showing antique tractors, riding bicycles and motorcycles, and had a genuine love for animals. However, his true passion was being a drag race car driver and owner. Al liked to analyze every performance in detail and was constantly experimenting in order to gain a competitive advantage. He would often claim to be just a minor adjustment away from securing a trip to victory lane. Al will always be remembered for his vibrant spirit, big heart and kind soul. A Memorial Service for Al will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 20, 2023, at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon.
