Marcine "Marty" Blaisdell age 79 of Rockford passed away April 24, 2019 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus Grand Rapids. She was born September 26, 1939 in Stanton MI the daughter of Ralph E. and Minnie R. (Doolittle) Barber. She was a graduate of Stanton Rural High School with the class of 1957. She was employed at Electrolux for 33 years retiring as receiving manager. She was married August 25, 1979 to Charles A. "Skip" Blaisdell and he survives along with her children; Bruce (Becky) Buffum of Gowen and Terri (Joe) Ondo of Navarre FL, grandchildren, Brad Buffum, Blair (Dan) Boyes, Joshua (Jennifer) Ondo, Jon Ondo and Tiffany (Bryan) Duncan, 6 great grandchildren, sister Gail (Paul "Jim") Wolschon of Greenville, sister-in-law, Penny (Larry) Therkeldsen of Trufant and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her sisters, Glee Wells and Keitha Johnson and her sister-in-law Ruth Ann Blaisdell.Funeral services will be held on Sunday April 28, 2019 at 2 PM from Hurst Funeral Home with Rev. Mathew Magera of St. Thomas Lutheran Church officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 3 to 5 PM at the funeral home and also on Sunday beginning at 1 PM. Private burial will be in West Montcalm Cemetery, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Parkinson's Foundation.
