He enjoyed fishing, watching First 48, and spending time with his loved ones. He is survived by his daughter: Cora McCoy; brothers: Chester Gleason of South Bend, Indiana, Ricky Gleason of Keystone Heights, Florida, Emmet Gleason of Apalachicola, Florida, and Michael Gleason of Sand Mountain, Alabama; nieces and nephews: Amy, Kimberly, Naomi, Lil' Emmet, Kristy, and Loretta. Christel Charlotte Bienwald, 97 of Inverness, Florida. On Sunday, November 19, 2023 Christel passed away peacefully at home. She was born on August 14, 1926 in Belgard, Pommerania, now Germany. She and her husband Wolfgang immigrated to the United States in 1952, living on Long Island and lastly in Inverness. She is survived by her husband of 78 years, Wolfgang, her two sons and their wives, Bernd and Marion, Ralph and Donna, two grandchildren and their spouses, Brian and Christina, Lauren and Vasilis Koskota and one great grandchild, Steven Wolfgang. We all loved and will greatly miss her joyous spirit. On 10/26/23 Glenn Frank Newton left his earthly home to begin his eternal life. His short battle with cancer declared his ultimate victory as he stepped into the presence of our Lord and Savior. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Carrol Newton, son Grant Newton, daughter-in-law Michelle Newton, and grandson Lars Newton of Raleigh, NC, and son Craig Newton, daughter-in-law Lisa Newton, and granddaughter Emilee Newton of Castle Rock, CO. Frank was born in Albany, GA, on 9/21/44. He grew up in Tampa and then moved to Dalton, GA, during his high school years. He was a Navy veteran. He had a successful career in surgical bur production. His biggest interest was history and he was always in pursuit of learning more on his favorite subject. Family and friends will remember him for his great sense of humor and kindness. Judith A. Nemeth, 79, of Inverness, FL, passed away on November 2, 2023. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on August 25, 1944, to the late William and Edith McNair. Judi lived in Inverness for the last 21 years where she was an active member of Citrus Hills Country Club. She participated in water aerobics, book club and belonged to a pinochle group. She was an avid traveler, visiting 49 of our 50 states and multiple countries across the world. Her greatest joy was visiting both family and the various national parks. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Kay Kennison, Robert McNair, and Eric McNair. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Reinhold Nemeth; son, William J. Nemeth (Pirit Pikker); daughter, Karla E. Dawson (Steven); sisters, Virginia Wood (Ray), Sara August, Margaret McNair, and Debra Yuro; brothers, William McNair (Grace), James McNair (Gina), and Christopher McNair (Laura); as well as four grandchildren, Rachel Fisher (A. Mary Louise Carnes Lundin, mother to Sandra Leigh Lundin and sister to Anne Marie Flanders, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 4:49 am after a long battle with complications from rheumatoid arthritis. Her final moments were spent peacefully in Inverness, FL surrounded by family and close friends. She was the hostess with the mostess known for her baking, friendship, generosity and extreme love of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Her kind spirit and fun personality provided warmth to all who knew her. She will always be with us in spirit. . especially in the classroom of her daughter whom she frequently visited.
