Roberta A. Herzog Brockport: Passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the age of 66. Predeceased by her parents Donald and Patricia Herzog, and her brothers Stephen and Richard Herzog. She is survived by her sister Nancy (Robert) Hendrikx, sister-in-law Deborah (Leon Cady) Herzog, nephew Philip (Rebecca) Herzog, nieces Tonya (Nicholas) Satter and Lisa Hendrikx, great nieces and nephew Taylor, Sophia, Sawyer and Cash, best friend Judy Lowery and her daughter Alexis. Roberta served many years at Bells Grocery, Lakeside Memorial Hospital and Walmart. She had numerous hobbies such as going to the casino, reading and color by number crafts. Roberta was a movie fanatic, and frequented many shows followed by lunch with her brother, moments she has always held dear. She grooved to karaoke, delighted in spending days at the mall, dancing and traveling, and had a passion for anything Disney and Harry Potter. In true Roberta fashion, and her huge heart, she loved Christmas and the gift of giving. Above all, spending time with her family was of greatest importance to her. She loved her mother wholeheartedly and had been heartbroken since her passing. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 12 pm to 2 pm at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport, where her funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roberta’s name may be made to Mr. Grey’s Strays or a charity of your choice.

He is survived by his children Allen (Mary Beth) Reynolds and Jennifer (Scott) Ames; grandchildren Thomas and Elizabeth “Liz” Reynolds, Joey and Addy Ames; sisters Kathy (Raymond) Buckner and Judy Reynolds; nephews Elliott (Joelle) Buchner, Brian (Chris) Buckner and their children; brother-in-law Allen (Kelly) Lloyd; nephews Chris and Ben Lloyd and Andrew. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Ruth Reid, brother Harold Reid, nephew David Schimp, uncle Mel and aunt Lorraine. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Gary; daughters Kimberly (Michael) Kuhn, and Kelly (Tony) Faro, grandchildren Aaron Gerwitz, Mackenzie Gerwitz, Jacob Gerwitz, Michael Kuhn, Maddie Kuhn, Alyssa Faro and Tegan Kuhn, sister Beverly Schimp, brother Gordon (Karen) Reid, many nieces and nephews as well as brothers and sisters in law Larry (Sarah) Zeliff, David (Donna) Miller and Doug (Lisa) Miller. Carolyn was an exceptional wife, mom, grandmother, businesswoman and friend to all. She was an active member of the Morton Baptist Church. Carolyn would never pass up an antique shop. She enjoyed her corvette and corvair (Carolyn’s “grocery getter”). She loved to travel and enjoyed NASCAR and drag racing. Most importantly, Carolyn enjoyed rooting for her grandchildren during all their events. "Kathleen F. Lentine Brockport: Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at age 60. Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Margie Marsh. Survived by Peter Lentine and their son, Paul Lentine; siblings, Maria (Glenn) Strader, Michele (Pat) Balcom and Edward J. (Amy) Marsh; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Kathy was the third daughter of Edward and Margie Marsh and was the youngest of the girls. She grew up in Chili with her two sisters and brother during the 70\u0027s. Kathy\u0027s childhood was spent exploring the woods and swimming in the pool. She was an exceptional artist and made many gifts for family and friends. She was an animal lover and always seemed to have a cat to cuddle. She had a kind, fun and outgoing nature. She married Peter at 18. If asked, I\u0027m sure she would state that the birth of their son, Paul was the greatest gift of her life. She treasured him. She had a strong faith and clung to it fiercely when she struggled at times. Kathy had a deep connection to both her parents. Her beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her. Fay worked for General Motors as the Manufacturing Superintendent for 30 years. He worked for and volunteered for the Town of Hamlin. Fay was an avid hunter and a wood craftsman. John H. (Jack) Milner

John H. (Jack) Milner, 79, of Brockport, NY, passed away on January 20, 2024. He was born on September 6, 1944, in Rochester, NY. Jack was a family man who adored his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 58 years, Beverly McClellan Milner, his daughters Denise (Gregg) and Kerri (David), and his grandchildren Lauren (Phillip), Haley, Miles, Jacob, Wesley, and Eleanor. He is also survived by his siblings Mark and Marcy. Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn, father, John, and sister Donna. Jack attended the Clarkson Schoolhouse for primary school and Brockport High School for his secondary education. He furthered his studies at Indiana State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education, and later pursued a Master's degree in Education and Certificate of Advanced Studies in Administration from SUNY Brockport. Throughout his career, Jack made a significant impact as a teacher and coach. From 1966 to 1970, he taught Health and Physical Education at Holley Central Schools, followed by a tenure at Churchville-Chili Central Schools from 1970 to 1986. In 1976, Jack was honored as the Section V Class AA Basketball Coach of the Year. He then served as the Athletic Director at Churchville-Chili from 1977 to 1986. Later, he became the Vice Principal and eventually the Principal of A.D. Oliver Middle School in Brockport from 1986 to 1999. In 2009, Jack was inducted to the Brockport Central School District Wall of Honor. He served 23 years as the President of the Monroe County Public School Athletic Association. Jack's dedication to his community extended beyond education and athletics, as he also served as the Sweden Town Supervisor (2009-2012) and was the founding President of the Sweden Community Foundation. Additionally, he established the Westside Challenger Baseball program, which brought joy to many young athletes with special needs. In his free time, Jack enjoyed playing golf and attending nearly every game and performance by his grandchildren. His love for his family was evident in all aspects of his life. Contributions in Jack's memory may be made to the Sweden Community Foundation, care of Sweden Town Hall 18 State Street, Brockport, NY 14420. All contributions will be used to build an accessible fishing dock at the Sweden Town Park in Jack’s memory. Friends and loved ones may call at Fowler Funeral Home, 340 West Ave, Brockport, NY 14420 on Saturday, January 27 from 2 PM to 5 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 1, 2024 at A.D. Oliver Middle School. Jack's family and friends will profoundly feel his absence. Jack’s love for his hometown will live on in the myriad projects he spearheaded to enrich the lives of the Brockport community.

Also preceded in death by her parents Lucy and Henry Flugel, son Gary Zastrow, son-in-law Tom Schrage, brothers; Dick, Dan and Robert Flugel, sisters; Mae, Betty, and Marie. She is survived by her loving children; Barb Schrage, Ann (Bill) Guilford, Steve (Colleen) Zastrow, Mary (Henry) Persia, Theresa (Mike) Krause, daughter-in-law Reneé Zastrow. Survived by sister Dolores Schnacky, brother Donald (Pat) Flugel, sister-in-law Gail Flugel. Many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Fran was born and raised in Rochester, NY. When she and her beloved husband, Jerry, married in 1947, they moved to Clarkson, NY where they raised their family. What Fran cherished most in her life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Fran was an avid gardener. There wasn’t a day that went by when she wasn’t tending to her flowers and caring for her plants. When people would visit, she loved showing them the beauty of what surrounded her home. Fran took great pride in her gardens. Near and dear to Fran’s heart, was her beautiful Catholic Faith, as she called it. She was a devout Christian and loved God with all her heart and soul. Fran and Jerry raised their family in the Catholic faith at Nativity BVM Church in Brockport, NY. Fran and Jerry retired in Florida from 1993-2014 – a lifelong dream of theirs. They loved their home there as well as the many friends and neighbors they met over the years. They spent many hours golfing, bicycling, beach-going, dining at seafood restaurants and enjoying the foliage that is a unique part of Florida. The family would like to thank ESLC @ Seabury Woods, Unity Hospital, Unity Geriatrics – Dr. Rab and staff; Rochester Regional Hospital Home Care, and Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center for the compassionate care Fran received. Richard P. “Dick” Davie Richard Perry “Dick” Davie (95) of Brockport, NY passed away on January 7, 2024. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Della; and sister Betty Jane Meade. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Mary Ellen Davie; his children, Robert Davie (Donna), Douglas Davie (Ann), Brian Davie (Leslie), John Davie, and Anne Davie Slattery; his grandchildren, Wendy, Emily, Carolyn, Karen, Andrew, Kimberly, Alex, Nicole, Derek, Shannon, Gavin, and Liam; and 11 great grandchildren. Dick was born March 4, 1928 in Bellerose, NY (Nassau County). He was a veteran who volunteered and served in the Army Corps of Engineers for two years before attending RPI in Troy, NY receiving his BS in Mechanical Engineering and was a member of the ATO fraternity. Dick met Mary Ellen Falter (Russell Sage) while attending RPI. They were married on October 12, 1952 and moved to the Rochester area spending most of their years in Spencerport. Dick worked at Kodak for 35 years, mainly in the paper mill, and was an avid sailor and member of Brockport Yacht Club for many years. In his retirement years Dick enjoyed making wine, wood working, genealogy, and was a member of the Ogden Conservation Board. A memorial service is scheduled at St. John’s Church in Spencerport, NY on April 20, 2024 at 10 am.

Diane L. Rombough

Diane L. Rombough passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the age of 83 at home in the care and comfort of her loving daughter. She is predeceased by her parents Stanley and Marie Forsythe. She is survived by her daughter Darcy Anne Rombough and her son David (Dynette) Rombough; grandchildren Natalee, Kara, and Seth Rombough; brother Norman (Virginia) Forsythe; nephews Brian and Kevin Forsythe; deeply devoted friends Carol Spierto and Laurie Scaglione and her faithful companions from Beauchien Kennels. Diane was co-owner and breeder of Beauchien Kennels with her daughter. She loved teaching and training puppy obedience classes as well as raising and watching their newborn puppies grow and head to their lifelong homes. One of her many passions was attending dog shows. She was a bookkeeper for the Marple Family in some capacity for almost 50 years, spanning three generations of their family. She was a masterful musician playing the violin and the piano as well as singing in the choir; she had a voice of an angel. She loved to crochet, knit and sew. She enjoyed working on the farm, gardening and canning her harvest. She excelled at growing and tending to her flowers – specifically her violets. She was a Girl Scout Leader and Soccer Mom; she also enjoyed camping and most recently bird watching. She was a lifelong Catholic who believed through her faith in everlasting life. She rests in the Kingdom of God with our Lord, Jesus Christ, now. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 11 – 1 with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American German Shepherd Dog Charitable Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association in Diane’s honor.
