She was born on March 7, 1938, in Thayer, MO, to her loving parents Erivin "Doc" Ingram and Opal Blankenship Ingram, who have preceded her in death. She met Russell Galloway while working at Western Electric and they married in 1973 and were married for almost 50 years before his passing in March of this year. Sarah was a woman of warmth, kindness, and compassion. She dedicated her life to providing nourishment not only to her own family but also to the students of Grace Christian Academy, where she worked as a cook for many years. Her delectable dishes brought joy and smiles to the faces of countless children, who greatly appreciated her amazing talents in the kitchen. She was famous with the kids for her amazing cinnamon rolls and classmates of Sarah and Pam sitll talk about how good those cinnamon rolls were. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lawton, Oklahoma. Edward Paul (Eddie) Britten, 68, passed away on November 25, 2023, in Yukon, Oklahoma. Eddie was born on September 26, 1955, in Lawton, OK to Gabrielle (Britten) Combs and Paul N. Britten. He grew up in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Diana Joy Taylor, and they were married on July 8, 1977. He worked for his dad as a roofer and then Eddie and Diana set up a home in Lawton where both Eddie and Diana started out life together working for a vending machine company. Eddie held a wide range of jobs in his lifetime and he and Diana moved out of Lawton as opportunities opened up in other towns around Oklahoma. He worked for the Coors Distributing Company for many years and during that time he and Diana had two children, Nina and Keith. Eddie also worked at the Auction Block with his mom and dad and eventually went to Auctioneer School and became an auctioneer. Eddie loved his children and enjoyed talking about his kids and he cherished the memories made with his wife and children from all their adventures camping, fishing, and going on fun vacations. He was very proud of his children as they grew up and established their own lives. Eddie was a Boy Scout leader for many years and always had a heart for the boys in his troop. He wanted to help them develop life skills to build their confidence as they participated in scouting activities. After working at the Coors Distributing Company Eddie started a new career renovating homes with Diana and it meant a lot to Eddie that he passed on his carpentry, carpeting, plumbing, wiring, and roofing skills to his children. After retiring from the home renovation business Eddie worked for Hobby Lobby and part-time for a local building contractor. Most of all, he showed his love for his brothers and sisters by using his home renovation skills to help them with all their home projects and then telling stories after dinner about his adventures in life. Eddie enjoyed working with his hands doing carpentry projects and always put in a hard days' work because it gave him joy to know he was helping his family. Helping with home projects was how he showed his love for his family and friends. When his grandchildren, Ava and Jace, came into his life he was the proudest Papa around. He shared his love of the outdoors by taking his grandkids on fishing adventures and camping trips. He enjoyed taking Ava and Jace shopping and got a kick out of negotiating with them as to how many toys they could buy each shopping trip. Eddie had a big heart for his children and grandchildren and never missed a chance to tell his brothers and sisters the stories about how they had him wrapped around their little fingers and he was not ashamed to admit he usually let them have their way. Eddie is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diana; his daughter Nina Sanders and her husband Brian; his son Keith Britten; and his grandchildren Ava and Jace Sanders. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters: Pauletta Tompkins, Joetta Midgley, Rosetta Hennessee and her husband George; Karlotta Milton and her husband Burt Montague; Nick Britten and his wife Manuela; and his brother Benjamin Britten; and many nieces and nephews.
