Bobby Louis Clark was born the oldest son of Christian parents, Louis and Evelyn Clark, in Harrison, AR on July 22, 1936. Bob graduated from Valley Springs High School in 1954. He worked at many jobs, including following the wheat harvest, cutting timber in the mountains of New Mexico, picking apples in Washington, and selling insurance. In September of 1955, Bob was severely injured in a farm tractor accident which crushed his face, he endured a long recovery; however, just a few months later, he was on his way to Michigan to spend time with family and experience new adventures. In September of 1960, Bob married Marilyn Kay Stafford Clark in Harrison, AR. To this union two daughters were born, Kim and Cindy. God and also Bob’s love of truck sales brought this family to Oklahoma in 1970 where they have resided since. He retired after 19 years with Scrivner Grocery Company but spent the rest of his working years in truck sales. Bob passed into the Lord’s arms on Wednesday, December 6. During his memory loss, Bob would still pray before dinner and continued to recite the Lord’s Prayer. He never lost his faith in God, trusting in God’s care. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Kay; daughters, Kim Haman (Steve) of Red Lodge, MT, and Cindy Kinnamon of Harrah, OK; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Fulkerson, Leah Mcdonald; Sarah Zvonek (Raymond), Will Haman (Angie), and Matt Haman; and many great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, David Clark (Marilyn) and Jerry Clark (Louise) of Harrison, AR; and special cousin, Joy Falkner (Denny). Viewing will be Monday, December 11, 2023 at Smith & Kernke N. May from noon to 6 pm. A celebration of life service will be held at Crossings Community Church Chapel, Oklahoma City, OK, at 11 a. m. on Tuesday, December 12. The family wishes to thank Belvia Smith, Megan and staff at Edmond Daily Living Center, Valir Hospice, Sharece Taylor and her team; Jessica Glover and Jade Valdes, caregivers; Paula Avery, Rhonda Burcham and many church friends and neighbors who helped in so many ways in Bob’s care. Bobby "Bob" Murray died unexpectedly in his apartment on the 3rd of December in Oklahoma City, at the age of 50. Bobby is survived by his mother Angela "Angie" Richardson of Oklahoma City, OK, father Ronald Murray of Helena, OK, mother of his children Lorrie Flowers of Durant, OK, children Kaily Deaver of Picayune, MS, Ashley Brennan & Jacob Flowers-Murray of Durant, OK, grandchildren Joseph & Delyla Deaver, Preslie Broyles, Kendrick, Raiden, and Makynlie Flowers-Murray, siblings Robbin Howard of Waurika, OK, Shonda Trueblood of Marlow, OK, Donald Richardson of Oklahoma City, OK, and many nephews & nieces. Bobby was born on the 13th of January in 1973 in Oklahoma City, OK to Angie Richardson and Ronald Murray. Bobby grew up in Southeastern Oklahoma where he had three children with Lorrie Flowers. He enjoyed playing Darts with friends and family. Where he could get a bit competitive. He also loved the outdoors. He spent a lot of time camping and fishing. He traveled to many states to work in stucco where he met a lot of people and saw a lot of beautiful things until he was unable to work. Bobby cared about many things in his life and one of them being his family and friends. He didn't always show it, but he cared in his own way. He loved listening to country music while at the lake. He favorite was Sugarland. He would always say he'd marry Jennifer Nettles. He'd dance with a broom while cleaning the kitchen after cooking breakfast for dinner just to make you laugh after a hard day. When they were younger, he used to rub the stomachs of his children whenever they were sick to make them feel better. With all of that said he had his hardships and battled with demons for the past few years. He wasn't always a good man and did a few bad things, but he was a loved man and will be greatly missed by many.Show more

Paul Wayne Bolton, a man of unwavering faith and boundless love, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 84. Born on April 2, 1939, in Clarksville, TX, to the late Ella Belle Wheeler Bolton and Thomas Paul Bolton, Paul's gentle spirit and warm heart touched the lives of all who knew him. Paul's journey through life was marked by his deep love for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Bobbie Seiter, and his daughter Linda Mills, and he now leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. His beloved wife, Louise, his daughter Kelli Caldwell (Greg), his son Scott Bolton (Karen), and his cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Jerica, Andi, Nicki, Madison, Brooklyn, Regan, Caleb, and DJ, will forever hold onto the memories they shared. Paul also leaves behind his nieces Jeanne, Ruthie, and Cathy, his nephew Tom, and many great-grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom he adored. Paul's career as a truck driver spanned many years, where he not only delivered goods but also shared his kindness and humor with those he met along the way. A man of simple pleasures, Paul's interests reflected his character. His love for God was evident in the way he lived his life, always striving to be a reflection of His grace. Paul's passion for motorcycles was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to feel the freedom of the open road and enjoy the beauty of creation. His family will fondly remember the sound of his laughter as he told yet another bad joke, a testament to his ability to find joy in the everyday. Paul was the epitome of a faith-filled individual whose loving nature comforted those around him. His gentle demeanor was constant in a world of change, providing his loved ones stability and peace. He enjoyed sharing goofy selfies with his grandchildren and sending emoji flowers across state lines, thrift stores, and Amazon. How he looked at the world is how we ask you to honor his memory - with mercy, grace, forgiveness, and unconditional love. As we bid farewell to Paul Wayne Bolton, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey marked by compassion, and a soul that has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on this world. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. David Wayne Neighbors was born on October 11, 1972 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Willam E. Neighbors and Florene Cooper Neighbors. David entered the gates of Heaven to join his parents and brother Kevin, on December 4, 2023 at 3:58pm. His family is confident that he is indeed rejoicing in the presence of our Lord. David is survived by his beloved wife Crystal. They were joined in matrimony on June 5, 2021. His two sisters, Terry and Tammy, brother, Williams, his children Tyler and Sarah, his bonus children Elizabeth, Brandon, and Nickie. As well as ten amazing grandchildren of whom he was proud and delighted in spending time with them all. He never let you wonder about the love that he held in his heart for those he loved and cared. David enjoyed cheering for his Sooners and Jones Longhorns. It was a rarity that he missed any game that these favorites played. Many of the boys that were on the various little league teams he went to called him Pops. He always made sure that each felt the caring encouragement whether they won or lost. David was devoted to attending church and God. He would never shy away from telling about his deep faith. He was the kind of person that would give you his last dollar or help as much as he could. He had been a welder and a fitter making high pressured tanks for companies like Boardman and QB Johnson. David had a hard working ethic and demanded perfection in his work. Beneath David's gruff exterior was a true heart of gold. His sense of humor could always make you laugh. He is loved by a multitude of family and friends that became like family. He will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to be loved by and who know and love him.Show more

Scott Lee Rafferty died December 5, 2023, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 56 years 9 months 20 days. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Born on February 16, 1967, in Lemmon, South Dakota, Scott was welcomed into the loving arms of his parents Larry and Karen (Beyers) Rafferty. He spent his formative years in Sturgis, South Dakota and graduated from high school in 1985. Eager to expand his knowledge and pursue his passion for helping others, he pursued further education to become a paramedic. In dedication to serving his country with integrity and courage, Scott joined the United States Army on March 3, 1989. His unwavering commitment led him to rise through the ranks as a Sergeant before receiving an honorable discharge on June 10, 1998. During his military tenure, Scott was recognized for his exceptional service with numerous honors including the Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and many more. Notably, he served as a jump master for the esteemed 82nd Airborne Division with an impressive tally of 363 successful jumps. His exceptional skills were further showcased when he was selected to "put out" General Luck from an airplane—an esteemed privilege that paid tribute to his expertise and dedication. Throughout both his military career and beyond, Scott consistently exemplified selflessness and a deep-rooted desire to assist those in need. Passionate about contributing to his community, Scott served as a volunteer firefighter and held the esteemed position of president of Search and Rescue in Meade County. Dedicated to outdoor pursuits and stewardship of the land, he diligently cared for his property and livestock. The arduous task of mowing his grounds may not have been his favorite undertaking, but Scott always ensured it was accomplished to perfection. When he wasn't immersed in tending to his responsibilities, Scott derived immense joy from spending quality time with his beloved family. Whether embarking on culinary adventures, hunting amidst nature's bounties, casting lines into tranquil waters, or relishing horseback rides, every moment shared with loved ones held profound significance. Above all, he treasured being called Grandpa or Pawpaw by his adoring grandchildren—a testament to the boundless love and devotion that filled their lives. Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Karen Rafferty; his brother, Larry Rafferty; his great grandchild, Kal-el Wilder; his nephew, Andrew Simmons, and numerous aunts and uncles. Margaret Carol Back passed away on December 4, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on August 5, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her parents Clayton and Patty (Lewis) McDowell. Carol received her education in Tulsa, Ok. before marrying David Allen Back on October 20, 1983, and then made Verdigris their home. With her kind heart and spirit Carol enjoyed doing things she loved for work. Her love for animals led her to different opportunities working in positions such as a veterinarian technician, kennel manager and in home pet care. The years she spent working with animals allowed her to fulfill her passion in this field by providing her favorite four-legged friends with the love, care and attention they deserved. Her work brought comfort to countless creatures and the families that loved them. Carol also loved working with children. She spent some time working as an assistant in a Pre-K classroom at Verdigris Schools. She then spent time as a preschool teacher at a local private school. The love she had for the students and their success in her classroom was apparent and proven with the love that so many shared for "Mrs. Carol" as their teacher. Beyond her professional achievements, Carol was an amazing individual known for her spunky personality, strong-willed nature and big heart. She loved taking care of her family and grandchildren. In her leisure time, Carol enjoyed relaxing at the lake with family and friends. She loved to take road trips, shopping and nurturing her flowers and plants. Those family members that survive include her husband David Back; children Ricky Back (and wife Rhonda), Amber Howell (and husband Rusty), and Donnie Back (and wife Kristen); grandchildren Bailey Vancil, Coltin Back, Brian Watson, Payton Watson, Baylee Watson, Ashlyn Howell, Austin Howell, Rylan Howell, Dawson Back, Noah Back, and Joshua Back; great grandchildren, Ariella Howell, Micah Vancil and Dean Vancil; parents Clayton and Patty McDowell; siblings Kelly Hoskins (and husband Paul), Terrie McDowell, and Earnest McDowell (and wife Cassey); as well close friends of the family, Erica King and Emeri Turman.
