Doris Beausoleil

Age - 80

November 9, 2023

Doris Pauline (Pintal) Beausoleil Oct 25, 1943 - Nov 5, 2023 On November 5th surrounded by her children, Doris Beausoleil, 80, a longtime resident of Dracut, MA, peacefully left this world for a better place, after months of declining health. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, relative, and friend. Born in Lowell in 1943, Doris was the youngest of two children to the late Raymond & Cecile (Cloutier) Pintal. She was raised in the "Little Canada" section of Lowell before moving near Lakeview Park in Dracut as a pre-teen. Doris was a graduate of Dracut High School and a devoted parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Parish in Tyngsborough, MA. As a young adult, she worked as a switchboard operator for Pellon Corp before devoting her time to raising her family. Doris was the proud mother of three children and the foundation of support, encouragement, guidance, and faith in their stable upbringing in Dracut, MA. In good and tough times, she was a remarkable role model for her son, Brian Beausoleil and his wife, Hazel Navarro; her son Jay Beausoleil and his girlfriend Erika Sandstrom; and her daughter, Michele Desmarais and her husband, Richard Desmarais who are all grateful for her immeasurable impact on their lives. Her treasures were undoubtedly her eight grandchildren: Briana & Maya Beausoleil; Nicole & Aidan Beausoleil; and Ashley, Dylan, Devin & Justin Desmarais. Their "Memere" ("Mem" for short) spoiled them often and attended every dance recital, ball game, graduation and award ceremony she could. She cherished every moment spent with them and was the best babysitter they could ask for. With family and friends, Doris had a penchant for thinking of everyone else first. She'd learn card games and follow sports teams to entertain and stay up to speed with the ones she loved. She remembered and acknowledged everyone's birthday in her extended family through several generations. Her time and dedication to her loved ones who were in need was exemplary, and she never asked for anything in return. The thoughtfulness and attention-to-detail in her gifts was her secret talent. She expressed care through her actions and humbly downplayed her contributions. Besides her children and grandchildren, Doris is survived by her brother Gerard Pintal and his wife Marguerite of Dracut and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is pre-deceased by her former husband, Paul Beausoleil. In her later years, Doris shared a special relationship and expressed great appreciation for both her cousin Lorraine Pintal and her dear friend Kathy Lord. Relative & friends will be received at Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Drive on Monday, November 13th from 4-7pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Mary Magdalen in Tyngsborough on Tuesday, November 14th at 10am. Committal services will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to spend quality time and energy in making an impact on the lives of your loved ones, as Doris always did.
