Manuel Arcos Jr Obituary

Manuel Arcos, Jr. passed from this life on April 4, 2023 at the age of 74. Manuel was born August 29, 1948 in Charlotte, Texas to Manuel and Consuelo Arcos. He married O'Felia Ochoa July 31,1971. The shared 52 years together. Manuel was a great provider and his family was very important to him. He had a great amount of knowledge and wisdom that he shared with his two sons and whoever else he met because Manuel never met a stranger. Manuel worked as a supervisor at Goulds Pump in Slaton for 23 years. Manuel's passion was his music. At age 14 he taught himself how to play the accordion. He played with many bands all over Texas and also appeared on TV playing his music. He loved the outdoors and fishing and spending time with his family. He will always be remembered as a loving father and father-in-law. He is proceeded in death by his loving brothers. Manuel is survived by his wife by his wife, O'Felia; his sons, Matthew Arcos (Yolando) and Moses Arcos (Trish); his sister, Mary Garcia; his brother, Robert Arcos ; many nieces and nephews and his fur babies Big Guy, Weda, Chica, and Choco. Rosary will be said 6:00 pm Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Englunds Chapel. Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Slaton. Interment will follow at Green Memorial Park Cemetery in Wilson. Arrangements are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Services. To to the family, please
