MADELYN CLAIRE "GIGI" MILHOLLAN (nee Finn) age 94, beloved wife of the late Gilbert; loving mother of Terence (wife Denise) and the late Timothy; devoted grandmother "Gigi' of Meghan Hart (husband Eric), Ellen Bruckman (husband Justin), Shannon Formanski (husband John), and Timothy S. Milhollan (wife Marissa) and great-grandmother "Gigi" of Makayla, Daniel, Matthew, Joseph, Mackenzie, Madelyn, Mia, Jackson. Sadie and Zachary; cherished daughter of the late Harry and Mildred (nee Maloney) Finn; dearest sister of the late Marylou Tomko (husband Moses deceased), Barbara Finn and Andrew Tokesyki. Madelyn was born on February 9, 1929, and passed away at home on October 5, 2023. She graduated from The Andrews School in Willoughby in 1947. She later met and married her beloved husband Gilbert, and they had 2 children, Terence and Timothy. She was formerly a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Bedford and St. Edwards Catholic Church in Parkman where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Madelyn owned and operated her own Wicker Rattan Furniture business. She loved to sew, decorate for the holidays and was an avid Browns fan. She enjoyed Irish music and dancing. Madelyn was a social butterfly. She never knew a stranger. She had a great Irish sense of humor, loved to joke and smile and was full of one-liners. All who knew and loved her will remember her for being devoted to her family and her faith. She will be missed deeply. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Madelyn to St. Helen Catholic School. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at St. Helen Catholic Church 12060 Kinsman Rd. Nock age 64, beloved wife of Howard; loving mother of Jennifer (Russell) Brock, Kate (Joseph) Keck, Stephen (Tony) Manes, Daniel Nock, Gabriel (Shawnee) Nock, Howard (Mirna) Nock, and Sean (Kim) Nock; devoted grandmother of Amber, Nathan, Ella, Paige, Brantley, Oliver, Howey, Caleigh, Ethan, and Gabe; daughter of the late Stephen and Glenna (nee Payne) Manes; sister of Sharon (Al, deceased) Faranda, Richard (Sylvia) Manes, and Linda Colosi; dear aunt and great-aunt of many. Paula was born in Iaegar, West Virginia, and made Chesterland, Ohio home the last 20 years of her life. She graduated from Villa Angela High School and dedicated more than 30 years with the United States Postal Service. She worked as a window clerk, for both Middlefield and Gate Mills Post Office, and loved everyone she met along the way. Paula knew no stranger. She wore her heart on her sleeve and cared deeply for her family, including the pets that never failed to make their way inside her home. She enjoyed thrift shopping, karaoke, and trips to The Great Geauga County Fair with her children and grandchildren. Paula earned her rest on December 3, 2023, after a short and brave battle with cancer. She leaves her family missing her great sense of humor and effortless way of making you feel loved. IRENE AGNES DAVIS (nee Drexler), aged 90 years, devoted wife of the late Joseph W. , dearest mother to Mark (Lori), Ann Marie (JB Shaw), John (deceased) and Paul (Anne), and beloved by 9 grandchildren. A longtime Gesu parishioner of deep and simple faith, Irene was active for decades teaching RCIA, developing the content for a Bereavement ministry, and serving meals and companionship with all those who visit the St. Patrick's Hunger Center. With her dear friend Betty Browne and the support of many friends, Irene inscribed and delivered a new book to each student of St. Aloysius School annually for nearly 20 years. Geraldine Edna "Gerri" Heck, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. She was the beloved daughter to the late Harold and Edna Pekrul; sister to Eileen Rogers (Peter); aunt to Paul Rogers, Robert Rogers (Kelly), and Cindy McCain (Isaac); great aunt to Cassia, Maximus, Benny, Ruthie, Sammy, and Zoe. Gerri became a teacher for the Newbury School System and taught 4th Grade for most of her career. In the midst of her teaching career, Gerri began working as an assistant to the Russell Township fiscal officer. When given the opportunity, she took over the position as fiscal officer. With her years of experience and dedication, she was resourceful and often consulted to better the community. She continued to serve Russell Township after retiring from her teaching career. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, spending time and sharing meals with her family, and was a devoted "mother" to her dogs and cats. She always wanted the best for her family and never stopped nurturing and teaching them as they grew up. She continued to touch many hearts during her stay at Holly Hill. Her generous and caring heart will be missed dearly. Visitation will be held at Chesterland Baptist Church located at 12670 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland 44026 on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 10am until 12pm. Barresi; devoted grandmother of Theresa Soto (Andrew), Sam Trombetti, Gina Trombetti, Melissa Westbrook (Christopher), Lindsey Pekarcik (Douglas), Matthew Garofalo, Sara Drollinger (Jeremy), Andrew Debevec and Anna Debevec and great-grandmother of eight; cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (nee Fazzio) Parisi; dearest sister of the late Jenny Gliebe, Kay Petkovic, James, Rose, Joseph, Sam and John Parisi, Ann Roser and Tony Parisi; dear aunt and great-aunt of many. Born on October 5, 1924 in Euclid, Ohio, Mary went on to excel as a homemaker. Proudly, she was a founding member St. Noel Church and, for the last five years, attended Divine Word Catholic Church. She belonged to the St. Anthony Club and her pinochle club. Mary was an avid reader, who knitted, crocheted and enjoyed listening to 40's and 50's music. She got great enjoyment from helping her family in many ways, baking, helping people, traveling by cruise ship and cheering on the Indians and Browns. Family describes Mary as friendly, sociable, warm, selfless, giving, generous with her time, and devoted to her family, friends and faith. Mary also loved a good laugh.
