Mr. Fletcher departed this life Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was born in Jackson, was reared and went to school in Bolivar and graduated from Central High School in 1981. Mac attended Jackson State Community College where he received his education to become a Paramedic and was licensed on June 7, 1985. Throughout his career as an EMS member, he served in Bolivar, Lexington, Jackson and Chester County. He also was an AIR-EVAC team member. He had lived in Henderson since 2006. In his leisure time, Mac enjoyed R/C airplanes, fishing, UT VOLS football and NASCAR racing, especially following the careers of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and his son, Dale, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob (2017) and Jackie (1997) Fletcher. He leaves behind his wife, Julie, of Henderson; five children, Joshua Phillip Fletcher of Toone, Dylan McCarley Fletcher of Lexington, Jacquelyn Macie Fletcher of Henderson, Jackson Hunter Neal and Jennifer Faith Neal, both of Henderson, also; and an aunt, Helen Marie Flatt of Michie, TN.
