"Lyndia \u0026quot;Carol\u0026quot; (Brown) Lowke, a beloved resident of Rockwall, Texas, passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 82. She was born on November 15, 1940, in South Gate, California, to Geraldine Musgrove and Jacob E. Brown Jr. Lyndia had been a proud resident of Rockwall for 22 years and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Carol was a devoted wife to her late husband, George Edward Lowke Sr. , whom she lovingly called \u0026quot;Gelly. \u0026quot; Together, they were blessed with two beautiful children, George Jr. and Lacey. Carol\u0027s love for her family was immeasurable, and she always went above and beyond to ensure their well-being. She was a doting mother and grandmother, and her family was the center of her world. Carol\u0027s grandchildren affectionately called her \u0026quot;Gramcracker,\u0026quot; a nickname that she cherished dearly. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them whenever she could. She was always there to offer a listening ear, a warm hug, or a word of encouragement. Her legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will continue to inspire her family for generations to come. Carol had a huge heart, and her love extended not only to her family but also to animals. She had a soft spot for furry friends, and she loved giving them attention and care. Her kindness and compassion for all living creatures were just some of the many qualities that made her so special. Known for her fiery spirit and vibrant personality, Carol was affectionately referred to as a \u0026quot;fiesty firecracker\u0026quot; by those who knew her best. She had a passion for fashion and was known as the spunky fashionista in her community. Her unique sense of style and confident demeanor left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Carol was a woman of many passions. She loved spending time with her friends and enjoyed playing cards and going to bingo. She was also an avid football fan and loved nothing more than rooting for her favorite team. In addition to her hobbies, Carol was also a Weight Watchers leader. She was passionate about helping others achieve their health goals and was a source of inspiration and motivation for many. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and selflessness will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to know her. Carol is survived by her son, George Lowke, Jr. ; her daughter, Lacy Rozo and husband, Fernando; her grandchildren, Kayla Rozo, Hayley Rozo; her sister, Phyllis MacMoy; her brother, Jacob Eddy Brown III; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on October 10, 2023 in Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home; 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, Texas. A gathering of all her loved ones, both friends and family, will be held a prior to her celebration in The Gathering at Rest Haven.
