"Luis Reyes, Jr. 81, of Rio Hondo went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 22, 2023. He was born January 27, 1942 in Rio Hondo, Texas to Luis Reyes, Sr. and Enriqueta Ochoa Reyes. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ricardo \u0026quot;Ricky\u0026quot; Reyes and a daughter, Belinda Turman. Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 58 years, Helen Reyes; his son, Luis Reyes III; his daughter, Sandra Reyes; 5 grandchildren, Shania Reyes, Cesar Jeramiah Alfaro, Michael Anthony Reyes, Moriah Lee Reyes and Daniel Lee Mancillas and a great-grandson, Dean Yanez. He is also survived by 5 sisters, Alicia Reyes, Anita Perez, Angelita Gonzales, Maria Romero and Minerva Estrada and 3 brothers, Alfredo Reyes, Jesus Reyes and David Reyes. Visitation will begin Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM and a prayer service will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 with a chapel service at 2:00 PM and burial will follow at Mont Meta Cemetery in San Benito. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed. Funeral services are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Harlingen. "
