Lucille Labelle Obituary

STILLWATER - Lucille Bocchi LaBelle, 87, longtime resident of Hudson Ave, and recently of Oak Brook Commons and Coburg Village, died peacefully at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehab, on Saturday, April 22, after a brief illness. Born in Mechanicville on July 11, 1935, daughter of the late Amerigo "Jim" and Mary Alice Natalie Bocchi, she was 1953 graduate of Mechanicville High School. Lucille was a secretary most of her career, working at local companies such as Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Stillwater Central School, and GE Silicone Products, Waterford, where she finished her career. She was an avid golfer who also enjoyed bowling, playing Bridge, sewing and who had an overall love of the outdoors and other outdoor sports. Lucille was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Roger H. LaBelle, along with sisters Helene DiGuiseppe and Alice Dalton. Survivors include her children: Jo-Ann (Mark) Smith of Halfmoon, Cynthia (Robert) Davies of Indianapolis, IN and Christopher (Lois) LaBelle of Mechanicville. Grandchildren: Morgan (Greg) Bratfish, Amanda Smith(Guy Belcher), Evan and Owen Davies, Jamie (Matt) Duesler, Joshua(Lyndsey) LaBelle, Tyler and Joanna Kronske along with great grandchildren Riley, Devin, Madison and Elizabeth, Austin, Caleb, Emily, Angel, and Logan. Also her siblings Rick(Marilyn) Bocchi, Robert(Dagmar) Bocchi, Eleanor Lisuzzo, Betty Christensen, and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at All Saints on the Hudson North Church, (St. Peter's), 895 Hudson Ave, with burial to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the American Heart Assoc. in memory of Lucille LaBelle.
