Louie Jimenez was born on November 6, 1958 in Salinas, CA and passed away unexpectedly on Sunday April 30, 2023 at the age of 64. He was raised in Castroville by his mother Mary Jimenez, and his Grandma Soledad Ortiz, until their passing when he was young. He is survived by his three sons, David, Louie, Anthony, and three granddaughters, Lilith, Jayla, and Divinity. When he was younger, he really enjoyed the Lowriding scene with the Castroville Midnighters. He enjoyed working on cars and owned a 1959 Chevy Impala that was his pride and joy. In his later years, he liked fishing, loved watching animal nature shows and working on his Chevy truck. He was very easygoing and made friends everywhere he went and could always shoot the bull with anyone. He always said exactly what was on his mind. He worked as a Forklift driver, spending many years at Oshita Inc, then later Nunes Cooling Inc, and a few other companies after that. He was a really hard worker and always put in a lot of overtime until his retirement about two years ago. He was also an amazing father. He always made time to take his children to the park, monster truck events, ride motorcycles, trips to Disneyland or Universal Studios theme park, or just take the family out for quality time. He taught his sons how to be strong, how to survive in this world, fix their own cars, and always work hard to support the family. Later his grandchildren became an important part of his life. He loved having granddaughters and would always try to spend as much time as he could with them, often spoiling them with so many toys and gifts until it emptied his wallet, but he didn't care because it gave him so much joy to see them smile. Louie will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father and grandfather. He will be with us in spirit and forever missed. . . To honor Louie's wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no service. Please privately celebrate his memory in your own ways or share your condolences or stories in the guestbook.
