Louann Stevens Malone, 52 of Pilot Point, Texas passed away on September 11, 2023. Louann was born on October 29, 1970, to Chris F. Stevens and Wanda Lou (Carey) Stevens. She attended high school in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Louann married Rodney Malone in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on August 21, 2010. She was an Event Coordinator with Arise Ministry, was a member of Henderson Hills Baptist Edmond and was currently attending Midway Church of Pilot Point, Texas. Louann is survived by her husband, Rodney Malone of Pilot Point, Texas; stepchildren, Ryan Malone and Leslie Malone; father, Chris Stevens of Aubrey, Texas; sisters, Carey Fisher & husband, Scott of Aubrey, Texas and Becky Smith & fiance, Bobby of Crowley, Texas; nieces & nephews, Miranda, Taylor and husband, Mark, Baylee, Braxton and Brooks; great-nephew, Mark David; father and mother-in-law, Les & Pat Malone. She is also survived by a host of friends in Edmond, Oklahoma and Pilot Point, Texas. Preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Lou Stevens. Pallbearers will be Ryan Malone, Scott Fisher, Rodger Duncan, Bobby Garrison, Ricky Gunkel, Steve Barnard. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Gainesville, Texas. Graveside Service to follow at 3:00 pm at Tushka Cemetery, Tushka, Oklahoma. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm, Henderson Hills Baptist Church, Edmond, Oklahoma

"Julia Mae Dane, 94 of Pilot Point, TX passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, in McKinney, TX. Julia was born in Davis, OK on May 29, 1929, to Albert "Leonard" and Ruby W. (Davis) Gilliland. She married Temple Manuel Dane on July 19, 1947, in Pilot Point, TX. After 53 years of marriage, Temple preceded her in death on February 4, 2000. Julia attended Antioch Baptist Church in Aubrey, TX, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and church treasurer. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Pilot Point, TX. Julia married Bob Briscoe on July 9, 2005, in Aubrey, TX. Julia is survived by one son, Carl Wayne Dane and wife Judy of Pilot Point, TX; one daughter, Barbara Joyce Swadling and husband Jerry of Pilot Point, TX; four grandchildren, LaTisha (Dan) Marick, Shelley (Chad) Schon, Donny (Mary) Dane, and Kerri Dane; eight great-grandchildren, Raeden, Rhamzie, \u0026amp; Rylen Schon, Jacey (Jordan) Box, Jalyn (Bailey) Marick, Mark \u0026amp; Evan Mayes, and Sara Dane; one great-great-granddaughter (fifth generation), Collins Box; and one brother, Johnny Gilliland. "Jenny Ruth (Campbell) Miller passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, in Pilot Point, TX at the age of 81. Jenny was born on October 27, 1942 on the farm home of her parents Ben and Lillie Belle Campbell eight miles east of Pilot Point, TX. She attended Pilot Point schools and graduated in 1961. She then attended the University of North Texas and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1964. Later, as a single mom, she earned her master's degree from Tarleton State University in Stephenville TX. Jenny was married to Kenneth Payne from 1962 to 1975. A son, Scott, and a daughter, Jennifer, were born of this marriage. She was married to Smith Markham from 1991 until his death in 2004. Jenny was a teacher (Pilot Point, Krum, Eastland, Lake Worth), an Assistant Superintendent (Lake Worth), and a long-time computer analyst and consultant for the Region 10 Educational Center out of Richardson, TX. She was an exceptional employee at every position she ever held. What did Jenny Value in life? Christianity, moral values, honesty, love of family and friends, loyalty, trust, a sense of humor, kindness and consideration, a sense of fairness, and the support of and by those around her. What did Jenny love? Sunshine, laughter, peace, joy, contentment, happiness, the desire to live and enjoy every moment of it, but most of all she loved God, her family and friends. In 2006, Jenny received a phone call from the past that would initiate the beginning of an exciting, happy, "rest of life" journey. Jenny and Guan Miller were married on March 15, 2008, and this began their final, loving, fun filled trip home. They moved back to Pilot Point, Tx and began living life together side by side, drawing strength, joy, and love from each other. Jenny will be greatly missed by her survivors: husband, Guan Miller; children and spouses, Scott \u0026amp; Charla Payne, and Jennifer \u0026amp; Spencer Mullens; grandsons and spouses, Lane \u0026amp; Tori Payne, Camry \u0026amp; Taylor Mullens, Tatum \u0026amp; Ellie Payne, Jake \u0026amp; McKenzie Mullens, and Douglas Payne; granddaughter, Taylor Mullens; and great grandchildren, Sadie \u0026amp; Brooks Payne, and Graham Mullens (on the way). Marshall was born February 16, 1939 in Texarkana, AR to Harold Desmond and Cordie Mae (Lain) Tullos. He married Lillie M. Davis in New Boston, TX on August 12, 1956. Marshall served in the United States Army for three years and was a deacon in the baptist faith since 1958. He is survived by his spouse, Lillie of Pilot Point, TX; two sons, Tony Marshall Tullos and wife Julie of Pilot Point, TX and Timothy Desmond Tullos and wife Carin of Avenue, MD; eight grandchildren, Garrett Marshall Tullos and wife Leah, Jakob Nathaniel Tullos, Cassidy Leigh Tullos, George Wyatt Tullos, Jess Darlin Tullos, Jack Armstrong Tullos, Alizabeth Mae Tullos, and Skylar Sage Tullos; two great-grandsons, Rhett Easton Tullos and Becham Lee Munson; two sisters, Julia Sue Spakes and Becky West both of Garland, AR; and several nieces and nephews. "Gene Edwin Peacock, 93, of Pilot Point, TX, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in Denton, TX. Gene was born January 28, 1930 in Whitney, TX to Loran and Pearl (Behringer) Peacock. He married Betty Ruth Curtis on July 30, 1949 in Rockwall TX. She preceded him in death August 28, 2009. Gene was a welder and worked 50 years in pipeline construction. He was a member of the Pipeliners Local Union 798 and a member of the James A. Smith Masonic Lodge No. 395 in Farmers Branch, TX for over 70 years--initiated April 20, 1953, passed July 6, 1953, and raised August 10, 1953. Gene is survived by his son, Curtis Edwin Peacock and wife Holly of Pilot Point, TX; six grandchildren, Ray Spinks and wife Chelsea of Celina, TX, Josh Bahlman and wife Kayla of Sterling City, TX, Kyle Peacock and wife Jackie of Krugerville, TX, Keith Peacock and wife Ashton of Pilot Point, TX, Kody Peacock of Pilot Point, TX, and Heather Nelson and husband Kevin of Argyle, TX; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nephews and nieces.
