Ms. Lou Etta Miller Ramsey, was born November 1, 1940 in Aiken, South Carolina, the daughter of John David Miller and Arlena Wigfall Miller. Her heavenly father called her home Monday, September 4, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. At an early age, she joined Mt. Anna Baptist Church. She sang in the Senior Choir and served faithfully until her health failed. She was a 1960 graduate of Martha Schofield High School and was retired from Emerson Asco Company in Aiken Lou Etta was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Lee Templeton, John David Miller, and Rosa Lee Akins while leaving to cherish many memories: two sons, Terry Miller, Cincinnati, OH and Timothy Miller (Melissa), Jacksonville, FL; her daughter, Teresa Lynn Ramsey (Raymond Jenkins); two grandchildren; devoted cousins: Mattie Miller, Cathy Lawton, and Roosevelt Jones; a devoted niece, Angela Miller; and a host of other relatives and loving friends.

Charlene leaves behind many cherished memories to her loving husband of 63 years, John ("Jack") Buske, and leaves behind her daughter, Debbie Watkins and her husband Doug Watkins, East Hampton, CT; two sons, John Buske, Jr. , and his wife Ann Marie Buske (Andover, CT), Jeffrey Buske and his wife Jill Buske (Belchertown, MA), and seven grandchildren; Steven Buske, Amber Buske, Rebecca Buske, Daniel Watkins, Maddie Buske, and Jack Watkins. James David Telander, Sr. 63, of Aiken passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, following an illness. Bron on August 4, 1960, in Miami Florida, he was the son of the late Bruce Elwin Telander and Mary Dell Chaplin Telander of Aiken. Mr. Telander was a graduate of Lander University in Greenwood and retired as a chef with Bettys Around the Corner in Aiken. He attended Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter and son-in-law, Laurie Michelle & Charles Raymond Fritz of Concord, NC; a son, James David Telander, Jr. of Miami, FL; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorene Dell & Richard Kordal of New York; and his former wife, Anne Telander of Miami, FL. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 2:00pm in the Historic George Funeral Home Downtown Chapel with the Rev. Dexter Lambert officiating. Carolyn Johnston Fletcher, 85, widow of the late Harold Edward Fletcher passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, November 29, 2023, at Madison Heights Assisted Living in Evans, GA following an extended illness. Mrs. Fletcher was born on April 4, 1938, in Ridgeland, SC a daughter of the late Leo Edward and Loreen Mitchell Johnston. Mrs. Fletcher was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Walterboro, SC. She was an avid gardener who loved all types of flowers. She was extremely active in her church, serving in VBS, the nursery, and singing in the Adult Choir. She loved decorating and planning parties. She was an avid reader and writer. Most of all she was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Surviving are five daughters, DiAnn Bell of Aiken, Sherri (Glynn) Quattlebaum of Simpsonville, Susan O'Bryan of Aiken, Vicki (Michael) Rumfelt of Walterboro and Kristie (Paul) Ashley of North Augusta; a brother, Reeves (Barbara) Johnston of Breeze, IL; grandchildren, Eric, Todd, Justin, Heather, Jennifer, Matthew, Stephanie, Amanda, Shana, Brianna, Mitchell, Garrett, Reagan & Brenson; 24 great-grandchildren.
